After only a week of baking bread, my wife had to have a second basket. The recipes she uses (Flour Water Salt Yeast) makes two loafs of bread. Do yourself a favor and be a big hit with your wife, get two. She says these baskets are perfect and produce photo quality loaves (see photo). They seem to be of good quality, but what the hell do I know about baking bread. I am just the 'wallet'.

I bought two baskets and received them this week. I tried them for the first time yesterday and they worked perfectly well. My doughs rose and got out of the basket leaving no trace.Be careful to moisturize the basket first. For that you can follow instructions from the accompanying ebook or, if you like me don't have a moisturizer spray you can use a damp kitchen towel and then flour the sides and the bottom.Bottom line is I'm happy to have them in my bread baking toolbox!

Great basket but the instructions are not included in the package so you need to log on and download and read the PDF. My cookbook told me to flour the basket but didnt include any of the other important info I got on the web page. A sheet included with the basket woukd have been appreciated.The outcome was great and the basket was part of that.

Bought 2 of these bannetons. Just new to sourdough bread baking. First batch, one loaf stuck just a little. 2nd batch both easily released. Before using, rinsed them and let dry several hours. Then liberally coated with all purpose flour. 2nd use just floured again. Loaves are beautiful! Look very professional.

Smells strongly of glue, I don't think their should be any glue in this product. Staples splintering out of banneton in some places. Seems like they tried to repair some mistakes by gluing fibers to the banneton. Otherwise seems sturdy and is what it says it is. I will be returning it.

On the first try I didn't have enough flour in the basket and so my dough stuck all in the basket. I had floured the basket but I guess not enough. It would have been nice to have some instructions included but I didn't see any.

Works exactly as designed! No splinters or rough patches. I prepped my basket by misting with water, liberally dousing with AP flour, and allowing it to dry fully. My first loaf of bread released perfectly from the basket and left a lovely pattern.
