These are gorgeous. They are really remarkable for the price. I have green, blue, and red. I love wearing them. I had one with big hold buttons and lapels that was a part of a cosplay costume, I loved it so much, then just in time, I found these. I love wearing long open things like these over my everyday clothes instead of sweaters or jackets. Before and After all the years of proper business attire, I think we should wear things that spark joy. Most of our lives the way we dress for work, and our casual wear, seems to fit some type of identifiable "genre" shouldn't there finally come a time when you get to decide to wear what makes you feel happy. Just because I'm getting older now, and despite my love for cats, I don't feel like there is really any rule that says I have to wear cat sweatshirts, and elastic pants, or sports costumes, not knocking that either, I just think at some point you find your the only one in charge of you, and you get to put on whatever makes you feel happy. These beautiful, surprisingly nice quality, at a fair and affordable price, velvet long jackets do it for me. They look great. I think they make you look a bit longer and leaner. The colors are very nice, Most of my life I only saw velvet in coverlets, sometimes tuxes, blazers (please not with elbow patches) in very young children's party clothes, or adult women's dresses for formal or semi formal occasions that are, let's be honest, few and far between for most of us, so everyone loves velvet (anyone else old enough to remember Bobby Vinton's song "Blue Velvet"? (Crickets). Anyhow turns out velvet looks great worn over casual clothes!!!!!! That's right! Next time put away that cat sweater, and put this beautifully colored, soft gorgeous velvet, with the adorable barely noticeable little matching sheer ruffle peeking out below the back hem. It looks so nice , even with boots. You will look lovely, and it will look like you picked out your outfit yourself, good for you!

The material was very thin, low quality rayon, and looked “cheap” rather than rich and velvety. The color was not a dusty pink as in the photo but rather a more bubble gum pink! It looks like a Halloween costume type of item and definitely not something I would wear as clothing! Yikes! Sent back immediately!
