I searched high and low for a good quality, brown leather, flip-flop that was comfort to wear for a long time, stand in, and walk a lot.I have a special issue with my left foot. I have a significantly short bone in my foot that causes uneven weight distribution. Not only do orthotics not work well for me, usually flip-flops don't offer much support in the right way. Ultimately, it is difficult to find shoes that hit all the checkmarks. These are wonderful! They are breaking in very well and cradle my foot perfectly.Highly recommend trying them if you have been weary of trying flip-flops - these just might surprise you and hit the mark.

This is my second pair of Olukai flips and I love them. I like the thin straps and the sole has a decent arch, so I can walk in them all day without a problem. There is no break in needed. Comfortable right out of the box. They look great too. Highly recommend..

These were comfortable right out of the box. I've had the other Olukai leather flip flops with the stitching on the sole and the burlap bottom. Those stretched and wore out pretty fast making the bottom slippery on some surfaces, so I wasn't sure about getting these. But they are not as prone to stretching and the rubber bottom is grippier, and I think will last longer. I'm super happy with these and will definitely be ordering more in the future.

Update: Fantastic customer service by OluKai! After I reviewed these I was contacted by OluKai and informed of their warranty. I provided them with the requested information and they quickly sent me a new pair! These sandals are the best!I love these sandals except for one thing. I bought them in black and the dye from the insoles comes off all over the bottoms of my feet. I cleaned the insoles several times, hoping it would help, but every time I’ve worn them the soles of my feet turn black. I just wish now that I had bought the light tan color so this wouldn’t happen. I don’t really even want to wear them anymore and I feel like I wasted my money. If you buy these don’t buy them in black.

I loved them at first but within three days the strap stretched so much that I can hardly keep them in my feet. So they’re terrible for walking any distance. I have to let the heels knock against the ground to keep them from falling off. Or the other option is my toes have to clench to hold onto the shoe. It’s terrible. I ordered the correct size. The length is fine. The leather strap should’ve been pre-stretched before the shoes was made. Update: 2 months later: unwearable.

This sandals are great and offer more support than normal flip flops. I am very disappointed though because the insole turns the bottom of my feet completely black. The black doesn’t wash off easily. It’s made me not want to wear them which is a shame since they cost close to $100. I would expect a shoe of this quality to have figured out how to keep this from happening. I wont be purchasing more of this brand because of this issue. Other than this, the shoes are great.

Worth the money. The Olakai sandals I purchased fit like a glove, slip-resistant, a quality, well made product. These are not your $2.00 pair of sandals so if you're hesitant about buying a pair of Olakai because of the price, don't be & just get them already. You'll be glad you did. I, personally selected this pair because it's neutral in color and would be most versatile with whatever clothing I choose to wear.I do however suggest using caution when purchasing Olakai & would consider going up 1 Size from what you normally wear so if you like having a teensy bit of wiggle room between your toes/heels & the edge of the sandals (flip-flops) you will have it
