Exactly what I was looking for
I needed to power a 5v LED strip that I added a WiFi controller to. Since 5v chargers with this size barrel plug are somewhat rare, I used this with an old USB wall plug and it worked perfectly.

Really neat cable.
This is a great idea! It allows a 5V product like a Buffalo Router to run off of a USB port. Using this I don't have to add to the mess under my desk. I just plug one end to a USB port on my computer and the other end into the router. Great!
