Great idea, but only if you have an iphone...
when I saw this, I almost flipped. Finally a way I can record my PRs and do form checks! I got even more excited when I saw that it could "fit any smartphone". Unfortunately that was definitely false advertisement. This really only works if you have iphone or something of a similar size.I myself have and HTC one from sprint, and even if I remove my low profile cover, it doesnt fit properly As the trend now is cell phones getting bigger and more tablet like, perchmount might want to look into redesignging the mount to accomodate larger phones. I believe samsung galaxy S sales have surpassed iphone sales in the last few years so it only makes sense.The item itself is great though. I love that it comes in a variety of colors, and the magnet is strong as heck. The plastic is flexible, yet durable and the non slip rubber used really gets a tight grip on your phone. Aside from the fact that it's too small, it's a great product.

Okay but not great for some phones
How securely the phone is held (if it's slightly bigger than an iphone) depends partly on the shape of your bumper case. I have used a phone and case within the specified size limits but sometimes it pops out because the case has slightly rounded edges instead of hard corners.I think this is really optimised for iphones, both in terms of size and phone shape.

Not flexible
It's tough to get the right angle using perchmount. I thought it'd be more flexible so you could bend it to get the right angle but u can't.

Awesome!
Love it, love it!! Very satisfied with purchase. I use it during my workouts, so I can view technique with performing lifts (i.e. power clean, hang snatch, over-head squats, etc.). Very great tool to have in a CF gym. :)

Magnetically
I have a life proof case on my phone so it's a tight fit but the rubber is grippy enough that it's held in place securely. Does what it's supposed too

Doesn't Fit Galaxy s4/s5
Doesn't fit my larger galaxy s4 or the new galaxy s5. I Got ripped off by product description. False advertising.
