This a simple and effective feeder. I was initially concerned that the holes were too small to drain water but I tested it in the sink and it drains very quickly, which will help keep seed drier. I like the divided tray and the fact that the notch in the middle allows you to take the tray off and leave the hanger in place. There are no corners and crevices to clean, which is fantastic.I like that you can see the birds all around the feeder, which isn't the case with a lot of feeders.4/18/2017 - UPDATE - I've been using this for a while now and I had to update that I really like this feeder a lot. In fact, I just took down my tray feeder and left this one up instead. It's big enough to hold larger birds (doves, robins, red-winged blackbirds) and it does so while still staying balanced. It holds just the right amount of seed, in my opinion. Really like this.

This feeder is exactly what I was looking for. Great design. It took me a couple minutes to put it together the way I wanted (only because putting stuff together is not one of my strengths), but I got it switched around so the loop was on top and the hook underneath. The very best thing about this feeder is the way the food tray can be lifted off of the hanger so I can take it in the house and wash it, fast and easy. We have a high wind warning here today, and so far the tray has not been knocked off of the hanger. I'm sure that's possible, but it's out there right now taking a lot of abuse from Nature and doing really well. I'm really happy with this, and the blue jays are happy about all the peanuts.

Excellent product. Initially bought one and put it out in the back garden with some fruit, because I had nothing else suitable for wild birds but was excited to try it out. Went to the grocery, came back less than two hours later and already, there were two birds eating from it. We never had a bird feeder before, so it was not like birds were used to coming to our garden to be fed. The simple, unassuming design, I suspect, helped the birds to trust it early on. Two separate compartments lets us separate the seeds from other foods and this helps to prevent "bird-bickering," as I call it. Trays have tiny holes in them so that if it rains, water does not accumulate in them. This means you cannot use it for a bird bath, but I simply bought a little attachment that allows me to put out water by clipping it to the tray. We loved this product so much, we subsequently bought 3 more... a second one for us, because the wild bird count feeding from the try is up to, I would estimate, 40-50 birds and on a morning, when they are hungry, one tray just wasn't enough for all birds to get fed quickly enough. We get such pleasure from watching the birds feed here everyday. At least 8 different species visit the trays every day, without fail. Even the crows are comfortable on it. Highly recommend this product. To the makers - excellent job on a product that is simple but effective and made of high quality materials.

If you have squirrels anywhere near your home --- don't bother buying this product. It is not a sturdy platform so the squirrels that jump on it will knock it to the ground and all my birdseed has spilled onto the ground multiple times. Even the seed that the squirrels won't eat ... just them jumping up there to investigate causes the feeder to come apart and fall onto the ground. Sadly it was a total waste of money.

It is perfect it's a 10 inch rounD. I was looking everywhere for a clear hanging bird feeder tray and this definitely meets my expectations I also went to squirrel stuff.com to buy a baffle and ive had the baffle since spring and the squirrels cannot get on the bird feeders. excellent combo

This is the best birdfeeder I have ever had. It is sleek and clean looking, has drainage holes and is simple to clean. I was looking for a birdfeeder that would fit under my bistro table so that it would be protected from the rain. (See photos)

One of the joys while working on the computer is to watch the birds feeding outside my window. When the rainy season hit and the feeder flooded, I looked for a different set-up. This feeder is perfect! It has microscopic holes in the surface which let the tray drain immediately, and is divided to accommodate two types of food. I topped it off with a dome (actually meant to prevent squirrel invasion) and the birds and I are quite pleased with the new arrangement.

It came very quickly. It appears well made and durable. It is very easy to use and fill. I use it for a chicken feeder. It hangs so fire ants don't get in it. I add food daily so it doesn't attract night time pests (roaches, mice, rats). Perfect for my needs.
