Definitely does the job as advertised. Very rich texture and makes skin feel like silk. Wish I would have known about this serum before ordering other brands. I highly recommend this product. I am over 50 and this works for me!!!

UPDATED 11/17/17. After using the whole bottle, my opinion has changed a bit. It's not a bad product. It just doesn't last very long. It gets thicker every day after opening the bottleEven using it sparingly. It feels nice on my skin, and didn't cause any breakouts. But it's not a miracle serum either.The chief reason this serum failed my expectations is because it's quite a bit thicker consistency than most serums. Much more like a gel than a serum. You have to use quite a bit more of the product than you'd normally use with other serums. It doesnt go very far. I ordered the same size bottle of a Vitamin C serum a week AFTER I ordered this product. I still have plenty of the Vitamin C serum left a month later. Whereas this bottle of Retinol "serum" has been empty for about 2 weeks already. The price was right though. Might try another serum from this company and see if other products are also thicker like a gel, or if it's just this one._________________________________I found this product to be very nice on my skin, does not cause any breakouts or irritation, and is even helpful in clearing up some of my smaller breakouts. Even though I'm 50 yrs old, my main skin concern is not wrinkles but the smalller but frequent breakouts that can get out of control if I'm not on top of it. (Especially around temples & chin/jawline.) I had tried a different retinol *cream* sold on Amazon before this serum, but I found that the cream was way too heavy for my face and CAUSED breakouts instead of clearing them. I definitely prefer this product. When I apply this serum after my nightly face wash, my skin looks especially great the next morning. I will say this is a tad thicker than what I usually think of as a 'serum.' Maybe a little closer to a gel, but not super thick. It goes further if I put a little on my palms and lightly rub them together then *quickly* spread the serum all over my face. The thicker consistency does make it easy to use up a whole bottle pretty quickly. But overall it's still been a very good serum for me. Plus the price was great! Will order again from same seller.

What happened to Uptown as this is absolutely an inferior product as compared to the retinal moisture product I've purchased numerous times in the past but is no longer available.This serum's product expiration date is less than 3 months away versus the retin A moisturizer larger containers were still quite effective after many months, and, of a much higher quality than this so called retinal serum (which by default should have been superior).The moisture creme was without question a great product and longer lasting than this ineffective small amount of very short lifespan serum.It's too bad as I really liked he retinal moisturizer and have now decided to abandon Uptown from my beauty products purchases.

The media could not be loaded.  I think this is working especially to the sides of my eyes. It's a thick liquid and it's not oily. You really can feel your skin tightening but do not apply too much as it then becomes sticky. I've just tried this for about 3 weeks now and some nights I don't remember to use it however it hasn't caused any rashes or my skin hasn't had any negative reactions with the product so I'll continue and see what happens. Also there is no scent

very thick. Can't use the dropper . Is it supposed to be that thick?

I have become bothered with newly noticed creping skin on my chin and around my mouth. Through a little Online research I found that retinol might be beneficial so I thought I'd give it a try. I went straight to Amazon to see what they had available and found loads of options. I chose Uptown because the price fit into my budget. Some reviews mentioned acne breakouts so I was expecting to put up with a few blemishes for a while and I did experience a few for about a week. They have since cleared and I have not experienced any new breakouts. Although the bottle says Night Serum, I use it in the day because it is a greaseless product and I don't see how it knows night from day or wake from sleep, but then I'm not a chemist. Daily use is working for me. I put it on after cleaning my face and then use a moisturizer over it. My skin looks better and feels wonderful. It has not "erased" any of the creping, and I wasn't expecting it to, but it has noticeably improved the look and feel of my skin.

I love this. I’ve ordered it twice now. It has a slight tingle and feels like it’s working immediately!! I use along with several other serums for reducing wrinkles.

Hard to get out of bottle. Not sure how well it works...but no irritation...
