I feel safer with it

I used this lock at a hotel in the Azores. Worked perfectly. Easy to use. I tried to use it at a hotel in New York but their lock were oversized so this product didn't work there.

For starters it broke on the first use . It was hard to stay in the door , the "metal" bent as soon as the apartment door shut. BUT everything was fixed . Customer service got back to me and sent 2 new locks for my trouble for the first time and they have been holding up nice. With things like this is all about the customer service for me. If they can make it right it's always a plus. I do feel more secure in my apartment when I use these. 10/10 recommend.

Lock plate bends easily, good for doors without chain locks.

This item is not good for everyday home use. For hotel travel it would work great. I would recommend for traveling.

The media could not be loaded.  With nerve damage in my dominate arm and hand I am able to easily work this locking mechanism. It worked great at the hotel and home as well. Even on a door with out a working lock. It works great and takes very little room up when taking it with you.

Our daughter has read the directions and watched the videos multiple times and cannot get this item to correctly install. She is quite intelligent, so we are not sure if the directions have left a step out or what has happened, but she purchased it as she just moved into her 1st apartment with her 2 1/2 year old and he can open their apartment door. So a HUGE thumbs down for this item.

Actually had a door lock that wasn’t working properly in a hotel and before I could switch rooms I had someone try to open my door as they were at the wrong room. This door lock made me feel very safe and definitely did it’s job!

The media could not be loaded.  Brilliant little locking device! Easy to use, and keeps the door LOCKED, key or not, when using this lock you will need to kick the door in to get inside- at which point a deadbolt isn't going to stop anyone, but for people just door checking- hotels, cottages, homes- wherever, this will let you know soneone is trying to get in, before they actually are!Be great for student residences where you pretty much only have your own room, often times without a lock, install this before bed and sleep tight!!My wife stole the keychain, cute bonus gift!!!

This little portable lock is wonderful! I didn’t have a lock on my bedroom door and now I do. No way anyone would get in short of removing the door! It is easy to use, can be undone one-handed, would not be a stumbling block if there was a fire, and, of course, it’s portable! I am going on a cruise next year and will take it with me. Provides major peace of mind. I would highly recommend it; it’s worth every penny!

Seems to work well, but it's difficult to set up.

Didn’t fit on the doors I tried on this last vacation

I ordered it for sharing washroom between two rooms but it didn’t work lol I had to return it. The quality is good though.
