Not what I expected
I have only had the product for a day so I can only offer a limited review. My opinion, at this point, is that the plastic covering the adhesive backing is very thin and rather challenging to remove. The manufacturer decided to sew the plastic covering the backing on the product. It doesn't make sense to me but sewing the plastic to the product makes it so much more difficult to remove. I also hope that the adhesive is going to be strong enough to hold the product in place. I realize the step covering shouldn't move much but the adhesive is only slightly sticky. It is rather easy to pick up the covering once it has been applied and move it to a different location.It does feel soft and provides a surface that makes it much easier for our dog to go up and down the steps, which was the motive for buying the product. I have my fingers crossed that the product works as we had hoped.

Quality
Could not be more pleased with this product. The carpet is plush and was very easy to install. The paper backing on the adhesive takes some time to remove, but is fairly easy to do. These treads are perfect on my stairs. Haven’t used them enough to comment on durability. Just installed yesterday.

a good alternative to carpeting the stairs.
Add the perfect amount of padding to wood staircases. Plush throughout and very durable. The film to remove does come off easy but in more than one piece. Wished it were more sticky to adhere to the stairs, but otherwise a good alternative to carpeting the stairs.

Reusable
Love these on the stairs. So soft and easy to put on! They’re reusable as well so you can take off and clean the stairs and put them back on

I loved it, it made my stairs look more comfortable, it was safer to go down and it looked beautiful

Only thing I would have done is buy them sooner
Great quality and stick to the steps securely as promised, I love these and so glad I got them, they really add a great addition to my bare steps that I have been unsure what to do with for 7 years now. Dont hesitate these are great!
