Q: It says the lights last on 30s when motion detected, is that true?

I have only had mine up for a few weeks and so far that is true. I did not use the install kit that came with the lights I used double sided gorilla tape so I didn't have to drill into my siding or gutters and it has held up.

Q: Will they stay on without any motion detected?

They only work when motion is detected.

Q: How do i activate the "key pin"?? No instructions came with my lights and they are not coming onp.

There is a little pin that came with the lights.. the is a small hole to the right of the light on the front. Stick that pin in the hole until you hear a click.

Q: If motion is detected during daytime. Will it also turn on?

Can the light sensor be covered without disabling the motion sensor? I want light whenever there is motion.
