It could not be any more simple and it does exactly what it says it does. Just put it on the can as directly and turn slowly. It will catch and start opening the can. Go once around and the lid lifts off easily and with NO sharp edges! My only criticism (and it is VERY minor) is that with one hand on the handle and one hand on the turning knob I had no had left for the can. I worried it would tip over but that is not the case as long as you just slowly and steadily turn it. Inexpensive, simple, and effective unlike many things in life. The relief of knowing there are no sharp edges makes it much easier to clean the can to recycle. Two (uncut) thumbs up!

It works! For 30 years or more, I have had two brands of safety can openers. One brand (the first one of its kind) does not have a long lifespan and finds different ways to break after a few years daily use. The other is a workhorse. Both require the traditional squeezing together of 2 handles. This one you just set on the top of the cane, start twisting the handle and it works! I don't know how. Now, I've only done 1 can but it was amazing.

Was supper cheap and had it for months. No issues do far. Like the fact it cuts tthe rim. so no bleeding finger tips and can keep in can for a few days,

This is a throw away, piece of junk! Three people tried using it and couldn’t open a can.

Like the price an fact help prevent cutting fingers.

It seems to be doing it’s job, but it’s a bit flimsy and I’m not sure it will last. Took me a minute to figure out how to maneuver it but once I figured it out it was very easy to use.

Speedy delivery and works like magic, creating smooth safe edges. Very happy with this purchase.

I keep wanting to use it because it's so cool compared to conventional openers, but them I'm foiled by discovering the can already has a ring-pull.

I've had similar can openers using this principle and the concept is great - no sharp edges on the can after opening. The opener is well designed, easy to turn, nice to hold if a little unusual when you are used to the type of opener that cuts just inside the weld. This opener cuts on the weld, or at least is supposed to.Unfortunately - this opener just made a shallow tiny groove in the weld, but did not open the can, even when going round twice. I even tried taking the bottom off the can (with another opener) and pushing up through the can to see if it just needed a little convincing to come off. Not so, this can opener just didn't cut the mustard - nor the can it was supposed to open (I did try a few different cans just to be sure).Given some other reviewers found it stopped working quite soon when it did work initially - I'd suggest keep looking for a good can opener elsewhere than this product.
