oh my, this works great. Picks up sound very well, even over 20 feet away. A fun item to add to our pirate theme event. This item is very entertaining. Makes you laugh. It is really fun. We will be using it with other props for a trunk or treat. Love that the wings and the beak move.

The media could not be loaded.  My bird loves this! It’s so funny to watch them interact. Of course she’s already chewed the eyes off, but still fun. Totally worth it for a birds toy!

First of all AAA batteries are needed. You need a tiny, teeny screw driver to open the battery compartment. Even then some prying open the plastic door is needed. Once you get that accomplished then you can turn the switch on or off. A short recording is possible for words, sounds etc, with playback almost instant. Good for people who like birds, or people who enjoy a good joke recording something very short.

When I first opened it there are no instructions. I put the batteries in, it worked great! 10 min later battery died. I replaced the batteries and got about 3 hours. It died again. This time, I replaced the batteries and nothing. It won’t work at all. My poor African grey is so sad. She loved having a friend to talk to 😞. I wish I could find something similar that would actually work

looks less durable than I hoped for. Loose stitching, crooked appearance, rather sloppy... BUT that certainly gives the bird character!!

I must say, my parrots love it, and get mad at it.This toy repeats every single sentence clearly for like 20-30 sec. It moves its beak and wings as if “I dare you!”As soon as my real parrots start talking this parrot toy starts repeating and fluffing its wings.It’s hillarious to watch the screaming, playing and naughtyness of those two beautiful birds.They even look at me wondering, “why did you invite this overwhelming and obnoxious plastic bird to our patio?”

Bought this as a gift for my nephew who wanted a real parrot. He was initially disappointed when he opened the box, but once he saw how it worked, he carried it around and had it repeat everything. Later, I saw my niece doing the same thing. It was a huge hit.Note: it has one volume -- extra squawking loud. It is annoying, but also amazing.

It talks right back..my geqnd daughter loves it!
