Internal Replacement Battery Compatible with Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 2019 SM-T290 SM-T295 SM-T295N SWD-WT-N8

Replaced the old battery in my wifes old tablet when the charge port got replaced while it was apart. Came mostly charged and is taking a charge now. Hope the charge last longer than the old. but it fit well would suggest getting a couple adhesive strips to isolate battery as the factory did.

Exactly what I was looking for when I ordered a new battery for my Samsung Galaxy tab A. This battery is exactly the same as what comes with tablet. The original battery swelled up from the summer heat because I left it in my car. Bought this batter as a replacement and it couldn't be any better the fit and function are spot on and performance wise this battery works perfectly. The little tool kit for removing the old battery and installing the new one works awesome too. Five stars I'm completely satisfied with my purchase. I forgot to mention the seller shipped the battery quickly and I received it faster than I was anticipating which makes the whole experience, seller and battery 5 stars. I couldn't have asked for more.

the old tablet died so i got this easy to replace battery and bang boom we are back in the saddle again lol

Battery does not fit a Galaxy Tab A. Tools included are made of cheap plastic. Not recommended

Replaced a swollen OEM Li-ion battery in my Samsung Galaxy TAB A 8.0 / SM-T290, which otherwise worked fine. Swollen OEM battery had popped the case open. I'd recommend watching online videos on how to open the back of the tablet. REMOVE THE SD CARD TRAY FIRST! (a very thin pry tool is useful, then a thicker plastic pick. Work slowly and carefully at every step. I left some of the old white double-sided adhesive tape under the battery so it wouldn't slide around. Tablet now is normal thickness again and charges and operates normally. I'm happy. I gave ease-of-installation 4 stars because of the difficulty of some of the procedures, but they're normal for this type of battery replacement.

For the price, $14, guess this was a good buy. The original battery in my samsung tablet lasted 4 years. I purchased this a second time and it certainly is cheaper than buying a new tablet. I’m getting better at opening the tablet, but the cheap plastic tools they provide are worthless. I used a small screwdriver which does leave the plastic trim gouged but it was the only way to open the tablet. Also you need to gently use your finger to feel the small battery power plug go in place when replacing the battery. Be patient, you can feel it snap in place. I watched YouTube videos to see how to replace the battery, a must because there are no instructions. If I can get another two years out of the tablet I’ll be happy.

The battery worked perfect, but the kit could use the special adhesive strips.The screwdrivers were OK, but the plastic tools were not good enough to open the samsung galaxy. I had to chew up the plastic on mine using a screwdriver. The galaxy tab A is really hard to open.
