The factory smell is heavy. I aired it outside for 2 days. This didn’t remove the smell. My dog laid on it and fell asleep. I awoke to barking and pawing. I looked at his belly and it was red as blood. I gave him meds and bathed him. I washed it with only woolite. Still the factory smell was there. I made a test and had him sleep on it for 20 mins. Again the same reaction. Such a shame as the rug is very soft and so nice on the feet.

It's nice but like a furry hairy look and feel. I thought it was a flat pile rug. The size was perfect for the area, but vacuuming it doesn't work unless you have an attachment that has a small brush because the particles that get on it needs a brush to get them out due to it being hairy. Also it's too light weight to vacuum without the suction sucking it in. To keep it from moving on floor you may need to put a rubber pad underneath. I haven't washed it yet or know if I can because it didn't come with any instructions.

I had intended to use it in a bedroom on a procelain tile floor, but when the package was opened a terrible chemical-like odor was overwhelming. The smell makes this rug is unusable. I even took it outside to my covered patio hoping it might air out, but it did not and I am returning this rug for a refund. (If a 0 Star were an option....)

Purchased for my 6yrs room his favorite color is blue so when I saw the shaggy carpet I couldn’t pass it up for the price. It comes true to size, unfortunately my sons dog had a accident on it. But I just popped it in the washer and it came out good as new😊

Bought for kitchen. Extremely soft and color is great. I would recommend this to parents of young kids who play on the floor a lot and would like a rug that they can lay out. The reason I say this is because the bottom is very stretchy and not at all durable. If you have something heavy on it and try to move it, it will stretch out and not go back. Easy enough to hide but definitely not a rug that will last years. Still very much worth it for price and other uses though. Just watch stretching it.

Nice amount of thickness in padding, and the texture is soft and full. The grip could be a little more clingy on my hardwood but it stays in place for the most part. I spilled dark soda on it right after opening, washed it right out in the sink, dried quickly, and there's no sign of the spill! Still soft as ever.

The rug is very pretty and soft. My daughter is super happy with this purchase. The only thing I can say is I wish the rubber bottom was a little more grippy but it stays in place for the most part, I'll just fix it. Really soft Boofy and furry.
