My child loved looking at the pictures and having it read to her

I'll be honest , I bought this because of the illustrator. I just love her work and this book did not disappoint! The work was done in gouache an it as beautiful. If you your little girl is a Shimmer and Shine fan , this book is a great addition to any library!

Very cute book! Most Shimmer and Shine books age recommendations is 3-6 but my child is almost 7. The reading level for this book is perfect for her! She's advanced in reading so I was skeptical about this book because it wouldn't challange her, however it is not like an easy reader. Plus the characters are so cute in this one.

Granddaughter is now into Shimmer and Shine, so the book was great for her. Plus it was a 'girl' book in a house full of boy things. She loved it and talked about it and tried to read to me.

Daughter loved this book. She is into Shimmer and Shine right now!

It's okay. If you daughter loves Shimmer and Shine she will like this book.
