BEST Cleaver & Knives I've ever owned!
I have several different Cangshan N1 Knives and absolutely LOVE every one of them. The blade is Amazingly Sharp (and holds the sharpness for a long time.....(I cook everyday with these knives). The balance is incredible, and I actually like the feel of the handle. I have read that a few don't care for the feel. This Cleaver is extremely well made, heavy duty and one of the things I love about the N1 Series is that they are all 1 Piece (NO riveted handles to break or chip). Whenever I have friends over and they see and feel the knives, they immediately want to know where I purchased them as they were very interested in them. I know that this piece and the others will be with me for a very long time. I love to cook and I know I don't have to look any further for a great knife or cleaver!

Cuts like a champ.
This is an awesome vegetable cleaver. I used it to cut up a cucumber and it worked perfectly. It has great balance and the handle feels good when you are using it. This knife looks superb next to the rest of my collection. If you have any of the N1 series this is a must have.

BAD Ergonomics. Good Blade, Bad Handle
The knife is visually stunning, very sharp and made of decent steel. The grind is precisely made and the amount of curve to the edge is well thought out. It cuts well.None of this matters because it is uncomfortable in the hand. The edges along the central cavity of the handle are sharp and unpleasant to hold, making this unsuitable for any prolonged use.If you are looking for a beautiful gift, in very nice packaging, that the recipient will probably not use - this is your knife. If you're a prep cook look elsewhere.

Love the knife
Love the knife, hate the handle, your hand does not sit in the right place and it is very slippery if wet at all. I have 5 other knifes from this company and they are 5 star.
