A Wearable Face Oil!
So far I'm really liking the oil, but will have to follow-up in a couple months as items like this require more then a few weeks to really see results. As most of you reading this have probably already noticed, Barbary Fig is significantly more expensive then some other 'rich and luxurious' face oils, like argon. I can't say personally if the results are worth the price variance yet but I can say that the way Barbary sits, absorbs and feels on the skin is worth it! Don't get me wrong, I still love a good Argon oil and use it at night, but because it is heavier it sits on my skin leaving it looking and feeling heavy of oil - and personally this makes my face itch (not in an allergic reaction but rather the weight of it on my skin). Argon oil also stays on top of the skin and is slow to absorb, so you need to be careful not to get it on your furniture, clothing and bedding. Not true with Barbary Fig which is rich and soft but absorbs quickly. it leaves my skin with a nice glow, slightly dewy but not shiny or sticky. Frankly the way it absorbs and feels alone makes it worth the extra cost - to be able to leave the house after applying it. It does have a slight smell that honestly took me a few days to get used to it when i first put it on, but it's not strong or terrible - it took less then a minute after applying it before I didn't notice the smell anymore.

Moisturizes nicely!
It isn't very thick and it smells a bit like flaxseed oil for the first 2 minutes then its gone. I've used it alone, on top of serums, under sunblock and it has been nice. Its moisturizing and comfortable. I can't say I've seen it turn back the clock at all but if you have wrinkles from dryness they will go away. I bought this because I read that Nigella Lawson uses it and well, she's beautiful at almost 60 so why not try it? 😀 Genetics and mostly habits dictate how we age (too much sun, alcohol, drug abuse and lack of sleep--there's a reason why its called 'beauty sleep'!) Knowing that, I'm still not immune to hope. Go ahead and buy this, it will moisturize your skin nicely. I'll update my review if I wake up and see my 25yr old self starring back at me in the mirror. It will mean that this is working wonders or my eyesight is going...

If the product says more moisture
I spent one week barbary fig oil, feel more moisture than rosehip seed oil, and now I do not have other essence in the use of facial toner coated barbary fig oil to apply a cream, 40 years old, dry skin, live in the subtropical zone other effects unknown, but barbary fig oil features than rosehip seed oil, elizabetharden miracle oil stronger and more moisture, I have their names, color classes, dark circles, fine lines and puffiness aspects sad .......Only give four stars instead of giving five stars is because the other effects not seen so reserved, so I run out again when the repurchase with you that there is no improvement in their names, color classes, dark circles, fine lines and puffiness issues ofPure barbary fig oil: Efficacy:Deep moisturizing the skin, promote skin cell regeneration reorganization, repair collagen and elastic fibers. Can effectively prevent the formation of premature wrinkles, against skin aging. In fade fine lines, pigmentation, acne, stretch marks, neck lines, dark circles and bags under the terms, there is remarkable effect.

Hoping it's worth the money....
I've only been using it for a few weeks and not consistently. I take a couple of precious (expensive) drops and rub my palms together and then press the warm oil on my neck then on my eyes then on my lips. Two drops go that far. Then I go start back at my neck and keep pressing and lightly massaging until all the oil is absorbed, then eyes, etc.I don't see a dramatic change. BUT, it has not caused those pesky little white things (silia sp?) around my eyes that many eye creams do.I have oily, flaky, aging (slow turnover), blackhead and cystic pimple prone skin. Oh and hyperpigmentation. I have a lot going on and use aggressive skin care.I will up date if there is note-worthy change or improvement.

Valuable Addition to Skin Care Regime
I ordered it upon the recommendation of a friend to whom I gave a compliment on the appearance of her skin. My friend and I are in our early 50s and very concerned about the upkeep of our skin and appearance so when I saw how smooth and dewy her skin looked I had to give it a try. I am not disappointed. This is a light oil that goes along way. In following the product instructions and rubbing the oil in between my fingers and then padding on my face the product applied evenly and with only a few drops. I did not find it to have much fragrance at all which means to me it does not contain additional, unnecessary ingredients. Unlike other reviews I did not find the fragrance to be unpleasant - rather it just smells healthy. So far, I believe my skin is improving with this product and it is encouraging me to purchase other products by this brand as well as continue to use the Barbary Fig Seed Oil.

Barbary Fig Seed Oil
I have been using the Barbary Fig Seed Oil along with the Vitamin C Serum with Hyaluronic Acid by Poppy Austin for three weeks and am amazed at reduction of the size of pores on my face. I have tried many many products and none have given me the results that these products have. I had suffered an allergic reaction to something which resulted in hives under my eyes and ultimately skin that looked like leather in several places....I remember applying my make up for Easter and couldn't believe how bad my complexion looked. After using the Vitamin C Serum and Fig Oil all the dry patches are gone and I have glowing skin with the smallest pores I have ever had. I suffered from acne as a young adult and continue to be prone to occasional breakouts. I was somewhat concerned that the Fig Oil could cause breakouts. I am glad to report that this is not the case. When you first apply the fig oil it seems oily but I allow it to absorb in for about 10 minutes before I apply my BareMinerals make up. Love, love these products!
