BDFPRGD Window Film Premium Color High Heat Control and Daytime Privacy Gold Outside, Silver Inside - 36in X 7ft

I've read some bad reviews on here but I chalk that up to either volume or picky Amazonians ;) you know who you are. I was very happy with this purchase. Although I did mess up and had to order some more $60 for this project? Yeah I'm happy. I ordered this twice and both times the product came undamaged and as described. I would recommend Car Window Tint Tools Kit for Auto Film Tinting Scraper Application Installation(item#241018) and would not rely on the tools they send. The rubber piece in this set was VERY helpful. This does not block 100 percent of light, it works like car tint, which i'm happy with because i want SOME light to come in. Also it doesn't help much with the heat(i face east) in between my storm and metal door. But a great fix i read and is so simple is to crack open your screen if you have a sliding storm, or to crack your door open to let heat out. I do like to privacy, you'd have to come up to glass and cup your hands to see anything inside and even then just dark images. Another thing I like is that it looks really cool and I have bragging rights.

It works. It limits the light in my bedroom and combined with curtains does a decent job of keeping the heat out. I followed the directions exactly and still had a hard time putting this up. The basic idea was easy to follow, but the film didn't want to go on straight and crinkled and stuck together despite spraying the sticky part with the soap/water solution. Plus, there was only enough for one normal sized window.

We like this product. Not the easiest to install, but once you get the hang of it, it goes up smoothly. Two people make the job easier. We had a problem with the end of one roll and contacted the manufacturer and they replaced defective film next day. Happy with purchase and would buy again.

i did not like - i am a novice and initial installation was horrible - i have installed other cling/removable films to my windows and this product was not the same...it does have a stickiness on the window side and started to stick to itself (like 3M sticky material) it was difficult and i will probably go back to the other non sticky type - it could have been just me - but i have had great success with other "static cling" type - not very happy with this difficult sticky type of window covering

Follow the instructions and it goes on just right. Even comes with a mini sqeegee and box cutter. Lighter than I expected in color but it cuts down on heat really well which is the perfect balance I needed anyway.

Reduced heat transfer and gave 50% more privacy. Easy to install.
