Seriously, Just Go to Sleep

My nephew found it very engaging.

I bought this and the original to give to a friend who was moving away. This book was for her three year-old who does not sleep a wink before 11 PM, and the original for her to laugh along. A perfect Parent-and-Child gift. Highly recommend it, if read properly the child will enjoy the pictures and parents can enjoy the humor. An older child (five or six years old) may understand this book a little better and be able to laugh about it.

Bought this with the original ruder version for my brother end his wife on the arrival of their new baby as a novelty option. They loved it and we all had a good laugh at how they will use the original one now and swap over to this one once the child gets old enough to start understanding.

Very disappointing. I thought this was a second book to a series, but it is just a sanitized version of the original. This was not clearly indicated in the description of the book.

This book is a wonderful companion to the marvelously creative and funny Go the F**k to Sleep. While the first book was for adults, especially parents, this one is for the children, with the same great images of sleeping wild creatures and the ever-becoming-more frustrated parent who just wants his child to go to sleep.
