I purchased these, not just as biscuit cutters, but to use cutting out fresh pineapple after I've sliced it. They perform excellently for this task too. The smallest is perfect to cut out the center stem and the largest cuts out the ring, leaving very little waste on the pineapple rind. This is a much more efficient cut than trimming the rind away with a knife first. There lock ring binder is a little stiff to operate but over time it will flex more I'm sure. The built on handles give good control and allow good pressure for cutting pineapple and will most assuredly cut biscuit and tart flour mixture.

At first, I didn't like these. I didn't feel as though the edges were sharp enough, BUT, the second time I used them, I quickly cut and scooted that cut away from the rest of the dough. It worked like magic. I love the different sizes--great for that leftover dough that won't make the prettiest full size biscuit. I'm a fan!, and it comes with a keyring to keep them all nested and neat!

Well made, sharp edges for slicing through biscuit dough quickly and cleanly without gathering bits as it goes. Very pleased.
