I know it looks like a ball on a string but its some dogs favorite thing on the planet . food draining and feeding treats this ball is fantastic .I know why it’s more popular than other balls it’s made well obviously not a chew toy if you use it for Doug as a reward and only bring it out when you’re training this thing is a lot of fun it has textures and rattles to engage the dog. most dogs tug is the greatest game ever despite what you may have heard and getting a dog to focus on you is the most important aspect of training. I buy a lot of balls about three of these if you don’t leave them around as -chew toy or they last forever ( people always complain that something gets ruined because the dog is left alone with it, stop leaving it out )

Use this ball to train gsd heavy chewer. Good rubber quality, just made some adjustments for handle. If you need this one as a heavy duty toy, it will survive. If you need it for training sessions, it's perfect. One thing that I removed from the very beginning was bell, to prevent some unexpected injuries while dog catching and holding it tight.

I was really excited about this ball for training my ACD on our walks but unfortunately it only last the weekend of him catching it and chewing on his way over to return it. The string lasted a day while the ball lasted 3. I would love to try again if they made it for tough chewers. While it was functional, it was a great reward especially being able to incorporating tug and not just fetch.

The ball is hard rubber, not like a tennis ball. I'm not going to down rate it because of that. The problem is my dog likes to hold it by the rope and shake it hard. I have ball sized black & blue marks on my leg and he's turning into a brainless wonder. 😉That said, this is the perfect product for those dogs with a strong urge to grab, pull, shake, and chew. Very sturdy and the handle makes for great tug-o-war. The weight of the ball makes it go further on my throw. Fast shipping, great vendor!
