Aura Cacia Atlas Cedarwood Essential Oil, 0.5 Fluid Ounce, Packaging May Vary

I use lemongrass to make my own bug repellent! I used a 2 oz. spray bottle filled with water, used 20 drops of lemongrass, 20 of peppermint and 20 of eucalyptus essential oils. Shake it up and spray on your shoes and clothing! Reapply when necessary! I use it mainly for ticks, black flies and mosquitoes! Works well for me!

I been using this brand for lemongrass for years and am still in love with it. Compared to other brands, the smell of this brand does smell as artificial.For uses:First off, for those that uses humidifier, a drop or two of this is very calming and refreshing. Another recommendation is to use this in a sauna to rid the area of the smell of sweat ( ask first before doing this as some people hate the smell of lemongrass). Finally, you can use this as a mosquito/bug repellant by mixing this with an oil (olive oil, vit e oil, etc) or lotion of your choice and spread it on your skin.

We got this to piss off our cat and try to stop him from hanging out in the sink. It didn't work--nothing pisses that cat off. It's not this product's fault, it's our cat's fault. That's just how he is, OK? If you have a cat who treats your sink like a godforsaken lounge chair, I hope he's more sensitive to smells than ours. Anyway, our kitchen now has a lovely aroma.

The fragrance of this oil straight from the bottle has more of the scent of eucalyptus. But don't worry, it mixes well with other oils to create lovely scents. I put this oil and neroli in my diffuser and it was great. I just don't see myself using this in the same way I've used other cedarwood oils in the past. This is not at all like a cedar chest or cedar blocks you buy to keep clothes safe. It is a totally other animal. I was hoping this would be the same as the cedarwood oil I've purchased in the past but I now realize this blends more with flowery scents than woodsy scents. This has its limitations but is useful for blending with other oils. And it smells better in the diffuser than straight from the bottle. I've also tried this with vanilla essential oil and that is a great combination.~The Rebecca Review

After loving the lemongrass essential oil from Lagunamoon i wanted to try a similar flavor from a different/higher quality brand and gave this a shot. Unfortunately, I did not like the lemongrass smell from Aura Cacia - it smells like a soup you order at a Thai restaurant. I wanted a refreshing smell, not something that smells like food. A+ for fast shipping and good packaging.

Warm and spicy-one of the few "masculine" essential oil scents that I really enjoy. Have seen multiple private testings (not done by companies) that have tested different essential oils for purity and quality and Aura Cacia has been consistently highly-rated, so I have been buying this brand lately and haven't had a bad experience with any of the types of oil yet.

Not a fan. Everyone's sense of smell is different, but this really has a sharp lingering smell. Big hint - the lemongrass essential oil at Whole Foods is much cheaper and has a great light lemongrass smell.

Beware of this product. It came without any safety seal and smell nothing like cedar. Smelled faintly of cat urine. No returns allowed even for faulty product. Product and seller are not to be trusted
