Mostly Metal Construction
Made of sturdy machined metal. Only plastic parts are the locking knob and a non-slip rubber gasket. Completely disassembles for more versatility. One hand locking mechanism works well. Not sturdy enough for mounting a DSLR on a ring light. However a point-and-shoot or lightweight (under one kilo) mirrorless would work.

Great product, works well
Caltar 7" Articulating Magic Arm: Great product, works well. I was surprised by the quality and stability of this rig. Recommended.Caltar 11" Articulating Magic Arm: Not so good. Same quality as the 7" but the added leverage due to longer arms overpowers the clamping ability. If you need one this large look for one that is even larger and better quality. Not recommended.

It is not nearly sturdy enough to take the weight of this monitor
I bought this due to it being advertised under the Atomos Ninja Inferno. It is not nearly sturdy enough to take the weight of this monitor. I am going to keep it due to it's low cost (maybe I can use it to hold up a shotgun mic or a small LED light panel), but there is no way it is strong enough to support the weight of a high end monitor.

Perfect buy
Works great for my lume cube

Frustrating
My field monitor keeps moving cause I can't seem to tighten this articulating arm enough. Even after wrenching it down as tight as I possibly can, it still slips. Really frustrating.

Not as sturdy as one would think.
it was great, no problem, until the swivel post broke. The spring popped out and couldn't be placed back in. Not as sturdy as one would think.
