This hat is very well made and looks exactly as pictured. I bought the large/extra large which fits my 23-inch melon with no problem. The hat will eventually lose some of it's elasticity - this is normal. I wore this hat roughly 2-3 times a week from May 2018 to May 2020 and the hat has stretched out to the point where it basically slides down to my ears now. This is not unique to Koloa. I've owned several Flex-Fit hats from different companies and they all lose their elasticity at some point - obviously, your mileage will vary. For me, it's not a deal-breaker that they last me about 2 years. I just order a new one and pass on the old one to my brother-in-law who has a 25-inch melon and it fits him just fine. The hat on the right side of the pic is after two years of usage without washing. I don’t sweat much from my head so the fading is all from the sun.

The hat is a good quality hat that you would expect from a FlexFit Brand. Love the "Trucker" mesh. Very hard to find! My family is from Koloa, Kauai and not really familiar with Koloa Surf Company but even still, I like the branding. The fit was Excellent for me. I usually get Medium or Large sized fitted hats. The size actually fits me very well and I would say I have a larger shaped head. I didn't have a problem with it forming to my head well as others stated. The bill was easy for me to form also. The - 2 Stars is for the stichting of the logo. Looks a little sloppy. I'm sure the company can do a better job with the stichting to provide better detail to the logo. If they put more attention to detail on the stichting or even raised the logo a bit more I would give 5x. A little unfourtunate because the logo is great and I really like the design. Even Still I will wear this hat because it is a cool hat. Happy to support any Company in Koloa. Time was taken to detail the logo and i appreciate that and hope to see more products with this logo. It would also be cool to have a logo on the back brim also! I got an AWESOME stick with the hat. That was a happy surprise! I would still recommend this hat!

It's a mesh trucker hat.Has stretch fit which is nice but there is no loop in the back to attach a looping lanyard on the back. So that you can attach a firm lanyard for surfing.Update: Lanyard broke one day and the hat promptly sank to the bottom of the ocean.Watched it sink underwater and gone forever.More trash in the sea. A "surf" hat. lol. more like "sink" and become trash hat.

Donna at Joe's is the best. I ordered two hats. One was dealyed in production. She was very responsive to my emails and eventually gave me a refund for the one hat but sent me two anyway with a hand written apology for the delay. Some of the best customer service I have had. Thanks again Donna!

I'm a normal sized 5'10" 180ln man and this was WAY too small. My 6 year old son asked to try it on and it was slightly big for him. He'll grow into it in no time. Not at all an adult sized hat.

Hats are tricky. Either too small or too big. But i trust flexfit hats. They always fit my head just right. So I felt confident buying a hat online without trying it on. I open the box and put it on my head and sure enough the hat fits just right. Not too tight. Fits right above the ears (doesn’t smush them down) bill has the right curve. Trust me if it’s a flexfit hat you can trust it’ll always fit.

im wearing this as my daily hat now.. from someone who almost always wears a hat, i am very pleased with this product. very well made and after a few months conforms well to your head. i have already purchased the white one..you will be very satisfied with this hat purchase!

Great price! Quality material! Fits perfect! A bald mans dream to prevent sunburn and look cooler then your friends! Ive gotten tank tops, hoodies, t-shirts from this company and Im never dissapointed.
