MehronMakeup Premium Character Kit (Clown)

I was skeptical about this, but it worked perfectly. I have a head full of very thick hair, but needed to have a bald head for a Halloween party with my kids. The instructions looked a little daunting, but I went with it. After a few minutes, I got a little rushed with the process and did not do everything as stated, but it all still worked out and looked great! Very impressed! And others at the party thought I actually shaved my head. It does get hot though. So be prepared if it's a day with a little sunshine.

I’m definitely not a professional makeup artist and I made sure I watched a few YouTube tutorials but this kit was great. It had everything you need. Once you apply, it has a few flesh colors to match your skin. I wore for about 4 hours. Definitely would purchase again.

Affordable kit, and certainly passable, but getting a variety of tones, or anything other than gray, is very, very hard or would require extra makeup. The included fake blood bottle helps with this, creating a splash of red that keeps a wet look for quite a while.It took a long time to get off, but I mostly blame that on me not planning ahead and getting makeup remover.This is ideal for someone that wants quick, cheap zombie makeup but that is not planning on winning any costume contests. In other words, George Romero wannabes go elsewhere, but otherwise it is good.

Pretty good quality, withstood hair pins sticking out of my hair. But it ended up ripping before I was even able to apply any spirit gum. Tried to work around it for a moment and right as I applied the gum, it ripped futher. 🙃Great price for what you get but alas, it's just too thin.

Admittedly, calling this a "professional" kit is a bit of a stretch. That's not to say there's anything wrong with the materials, but professionals are going to work with more and more advanced materials and techniques than those included here (including, for instance, airbrushes and foam latex prosthetic appliances). However, this is a great introductory kit for a beginner just getting started with special effects makeup.The quality of the materials is quite good, and it's all reasonably easy to use. As you can see in the photos, even as a complete amateur, I think I was able to achieve good results using this kit. The only effect I added that wasn't included in the kit was that I blackened my mouth using a black substance made by mixing all the colors of food coloring into a cup of mouthwash.The makeup included provides a good selection of colors perfect for zombies or for other wounds. It's a good quality material and supplied in sufficient quantity to make several zombies. It also comes with liquid latex in a color that closely matches the "zombie flesh" color of makeup, which is quite helpful, and also supplied in sufficient quantities for several zombies.The fake blood included has a great color and is a non-toxic mixture. It's a little on the thick side for my taste, but I certainly had no problem using it in small quantities to create little blood drips from wounds, and particularly to add some color to the lips.The only included material I didn't particularly like was the "extra flesh" wax material. I found it just too soft to be very useful (and fairly messy to boot). That's not to say you can't make it work (particularly in small quantities), but I'd personally opt for different materials.Overall, I'm quite happy with this purchase. For someone like me--a beginning hobbyist in the special effects makeup world, but one with high standards--it was the perfect set to complete one of my projects.

Won't find a better bald cap, definitely worth the price!

One star because the green hair colour was easy to use and worked well on grey hair.The white face paint was terrible - dry and hard and almost impossible to apply. It made the skin slightly paler but not white as expected. The red was too pale and I ended up using a red lipstick instead. I didn’t use the other items as I was doing my husband’s make up in the style of Arthur Fleck (Joachim Phoenix’s Joker).All in all a bit of a waste of money.

I bought this product to practice clown make-up. The make-up is smooth and creamy to apply...one practice the white is 3/4 empty and I didn't do white face.. .also the red not vibrant .I realize it's not full size, I thought there would be more...the brush it came with is great..and the powder is amazing ..I will be buying full size powder and white cream .overall it is a great kit to practice with.. the red is not as vibrant as it appears..the sponge nose is small..what you get is worth it.

Nice large cakes of color, easy to apply to brush and face, and cleans off really nicely once it's time to remove. Very satisfied
