Within the range, this candle is particularly richly scented. The scent is beautiful both when lit or unlit. I would say that when not currently burning the candle smells like vanilla cake, whereas almond notes appear during the burning. The scent is stronger than others in the range but is not overpowering. It definitely fills the room. The candle lid comes with a sealing gasket to prevent the scent from decreasing over time. The white frosted glass package is high quality and produces a lovely lantern effect when the candle is lit. This diffuses the light so that the flame is not at all harsh to look at. This candle does last for a very long time. I've burned it for at least 20 hours and I would estimate it's less than 1/3 finished. One tip I would give is to ensure the first burn is on a surface without a draft (e.g. away from a window), so that the first burn is even. This will avoid having areas of unburnt wax as the candle burns down. The little instructional booklet they provide is helpful on this and worth a quick read.

I use the smaller tea lights with a scent, but this beats them all, a good perfume that floats around the room, am in the second of two four hour sessions and the wax has hardly left the surface, so good value for the purse. The glass container is also attractive to look at with the gold lid on top when UNLIT - it makes a nice decoration for any room. A good buy as a gift.

A very expensive glass jar! The candle actually hurts my chest. Ist light was 2.5 hours as recommended. As winter is here I love candles jad had been merrily burning in an evening...but was soon dismayed when I started feeling like an elephant was sat on my chest and began periodically coughing over the next 2 days...so I had no candles burning for a week felt better... had 3 candles last night and was fine. Put on the Green candle tonight and within an hour my chest has hurting and my breathing was shallow... . Turned it off and aired the room and soon noticed a clearing of my lungs....This candle is scented strongly .... but I hate to think what with... I would actually deem this as dangerous. I felt that ill in such a short space of time.

I enjoyed every second of burning this candle. It's presented beautifully and would make a lovely gift. Burns well with a lovely subtle fragrance that lasts and lasts. No smokey residue, it's exactly as it is listed, will be buying again. 5 stars
