50% for sure
I live in Arizona and the sun, even now, gets very intense for my wicking tub garden. So I set up my canopy frame and stretched the shade over it, using magnets to holdthe shade to the frame. Works very well at shading my tomatoes and pepper plants.

Easy to install, fit well
I got it to shade my greenhouse in hot weather. It's doing a great job of that! Was a little disappointed in the edging where the grommets are. thought it would be woven nylon or some other durable material, but it's just thin plastic sewn on as a seam binding. I'm a little dubious about that lasting more than one season. The cloth itself is stretchy, so even where it goes over the roof vents, there's enough give to be able to open the vents easily, even with a snug fit overall.

Not the correct size but in the end two together will get the job done.
It was “not” the correct length. I ordered a 12’x20’ but, what I got was something like a 12’x12’. If it wasn’t cheaper to just order another one the same size and zip tie them together. I would’ve definitely sent this one back. Like others have said about their fancy sewing job is absolutely correct. All over the place no straight edges. You’re getting what you paid for so can’t complain to much I guess. Unless it wasn’t even the correct size. Once I get the second one zipped tied to the first one I’ll be able to provide shade to my propagation greenhouse. And that’s all I’m trying to accomplish and this will be good enough for just that.

Varying sun shades
I've used several variants of this for years. Started as means for limiting sunlight on my plants. I live in Florida where the sun destroys many "full sun" plants. The 40% block works great. I recently got the 70% to put over my worm bed and my little critters love the cooler temps in June heat.. I'd like to have a shade over my pool from this material.

Saves my lettuces!
Does the trick in the summer heat. I cover all my raised beds that have delicate greens with these shade cloths. Does the trick to extend their season. I also water straight through the fabric and it helps to disperse the flow. I used these last year because my tomatoes wouldn't ripen due to the heat! As soon as I tossed this shade cloth on they started to turn red.

Great product for your tomatoes.
I used this to put over my tomatoes in the garden because they were not doing too good with direct sunlight. Now they are doing good and could plant more knowing this would protect them.

Very useful
A lot of our dragon fruit trees were damaged by the sun... I used cardboard to cover it before, but the growth of dragon fruit also needs a certain amount of sunlight so I bought this 50% shade net. Works very good.

Might work.
My husband bought this to hopefully keep his vegetables alive in a fresno summer. The actual summer temps aren't here yet, but so far, he's excited about the tarp.
