Easy to install and fixed my gas cap issue.

Perfect fit for 2017 Golf SportWagen. Used a small flat screwdriver to pop the old one off the gas cap and snapped this on. It is tight but will snap on with a bit of effort. The small loop that connects to the plastic attachment on the gas door is similar, takes a little work but will stretch just enough to attach. Great replacement part without running the risk of gas cap issues.

I didn't want to buy an expensive new gas cap from Audi, and I didn't want to risk a check engine light with aftermarket. Only this piece was broken, so I gave it a try.The rope and small loop are soft rubber, so they slid right on and off. The big loop is hard plastic. It was hard to get off, but fairly easy to pop on. I popped it on from the external black side of the gas cap, to minimize chances of messing up the seal on the other side.I just used a small flathead screwdriver and wire cutters to cut off the old one, rather than try to muscle it off. It's not a critical piece of the gas cap, so if this new one didn't fit, I'd still be in ok shape. But this one fit perfectly, so game on.Took me 5 minutes, taking my time and cleaning up the gook while I was in there.

The part that goes around the gas cap is too tight and does not allow you to tighten the gas cap freely on my 2005 Audi All Road. Not worth returning.
