Wilton Silicone Mold 6 CAV, Camping Adventure, 6 Cavity

Bought this mold for my mom who used it to make fire starters. It worked great.

My husband is a “mountain man” and goes by the name Bear. We make cold processed soaps, and he created a new soap with pine needles and pine scent, so I bought him this mold. Other reviews have said the bears’ legs break and won’t come out whole. I can see why. The legs are thin and the silicone is thick and more difficult to bend than our other molds. We left the soaps out in the mold for 24 hours then refrigerated it overnight, and then immediately took the soaps out. As you can see, they turned out great. (We also tried mixing two colors. They came out more layered and wonky, but we love them.)

Works great for soap molds. You need to be careful about not breaking the feet off when demolding the soap though.

The media could not be loaded. This is made of a sturdier silicone that is still flexible enough to pop soaps out with one hand. The color is fun as well as the molds. Soaps came out very well as you can see from the video.

The media could not be loaded. I use this mold to make soap!. The claws come out of the mold easy, the bears are hard to get out. You have to reform there feet each time.So because of the feet I rate this mold a 4. I did order another just so I can make 6 claws at a time.

I make soap with this bear and bear paw mold. The soap comes out really easy. Package well and came on time.
