Highly recommend; review addresses "dye issue" and "cloth too rough"
I've had these for a little over a week and I LOVE them. They live up to the hype and I don't understand why people have issues with them. I read reviews for products very thoroughly before even considering purchasing items... that being said, I was skeptical when I was looking at these "miracle" microfiber cloths. I'd seen "my face was rubbed raw" and "dye-related issues" in other reviews, but I'll address that later. I finally bought them on a whim because they weren't that expensive and I was curious. I'm terrible about washing my face/ removing my makeup before bed and I don't like using makeup remover wipes because of the weird sticky feeling they leave on my skin.I don't wear a ton of makeup (nothing like a "full face" or whatever) but I'm just sharing my experience. I rarely use foundation or concealer but I do wear urban decay eye makeup (primer, shadow, mascara, etc.) and these removes it all no problem. I run it under hot water, wring out enough water so it's not sopping wet, and start wiping my face. Once the cloth is cool, I repeat the process until my makeup is completely off. One thing I think is important to recognize is that there are TWO sides... one is to "erase" and the other is labeled "exfoliate". I think that some people who gave lower ratings for it irritating their skin may have accidentally used the exfoliate side... but who knows. As for the dye issue... I ordered them in black and washed them in cold water with like colors on a regular cycle before using them. I just hung them to dry but I don't remember reading if they were fine in a dryer or not. I used them for several days with no dye bleeding under the scalding hot water I was using in the sink. In another review, someone mentioned they work great for taking off face masks and not soaking yourself/bathroom counter in the process. ONLY AFTER removing a bubble mask, I noticed the purple-ish dye bleeding out of the cloths... now I took that as more of a negative for the mask than the cloths because the bleeding was likely caused by some funky chemical in the mask.I didn't get a discount/free product or anything for this review... I just genuinely like this product and think it's a great thing to use. It's going to help me *actually* wash my face every night before bed. I even let a guest (who uses makeup more than I do) try one and she's decided to order her own! I will definitely be gifting these awesome washcloths to friends and family this year!!!

THESE TAKE OFF EVERYTHING!
WOW! These makeup remover towels are INCREDIBLE. I don't know what these other reviewers are doing wrong to say that it doesn't remove makeup. I wear a medium amount of makeup everyday - not light but not heavy either (foundation, concealer, bronzer, blush, mascara, etc etc). It takes off EVERYTHING, even my waterproof mascara. I don't know what kind of magic in these towels. I'm ready to throw out the 4+ other products I was using to remove my makeup and just use this towel for everything.PROS: it removes everything, has a hook to hang in the shower, labels each side (erase/exfoliate), comes in a 2-pack (with bonus hair ties) so when one's in the laundry, you have another to useCONS: NONE!NOTE: I bought the black towels and there was running of the dye as other reviewers mentioned (I didn't wash them before first use - oops!) So I put them in the washer and dryer by themselves (washed and dried according to the instructions) and haven't had an issue with the black dye since.

Soft, durable, dries quickly, not color fast though.
I purchased the black and it is not colorfast. It runs dye with every rinse. This isn’t a huge deal but important to note. They are soft on the face and despite being microfiber, have more of a loose weave so that it can dry quicker. That is a positive if you reuse the cloth more than once. Wet cloths allow bacteria to grow. I have used other cloths that are tougher on the skin and some softer. I enjoy the size of the cloth and the texture. It is soft but still durable enough to cleanse and exfoliate (though I will note that I don’t feel a difference in the erase and exfoliate sides). Also important to note is I use this with a milky lotion cleanser.

Not complete removal but good for the lazy makeup wearer 👀
Let me start by saying that I am someone who has always been skeptical of these things. I finally decided I would give some a try with a more inexpensive option. I read a couple of reviews that were on the purchase page didn’t thoroughly go through them. One review mentioned someone else saying that the dyes come off with the black ones so I kept that in mind when trying. I washed them in cold water and dried them without using dryer sheets (although it says you can on the package).I had on a full face of makeup and decided I would only use on half my face to start. I made sure I was using the erase side and ran a portion of it under warm water. I was surprised at how much makeup it DID take off! Ten points for initial results! I ultimately did 3 rounds on that side of my face to make sure I was getting the most out of it that I could. I then decided to use my face brush and see if any more makeup would be removed. I took a wipe to wet my face and some makeup residue did show up on the wipe. I was careful to stay in the middle so I wouldn’t pick up any makeup from the untouched side of my face. I then used my face brush and was able to pick up more makeup residue.I would say this is great if you are the type that often “forgets” 👀 to take your makeup off at night (like me) or for when you are camping or in a situation where it would be harder to thoroughly wash your face. I could easily use this before bed and know that I was getting the majority of my makeup off. However, it is not removing it completely by a long shot. This was also very soft and nice to use to rinse my face after using my face brush. I will definitely use them for that reason if nothing else.I DID notice the water from the cloth was tinted black so the dyes do run. This does not bother me but I wanted to include it in my review in case it would be bothersome to someone else. This was after washing them. I only noticed because we have light countertops and you could see the black tinted water easily.

Works perfectly for what I need it to
After being diagnosed with severe dermatitis on my face and doing a 6 week round of meds to help combat the issue that left me with dry rashes, red spots and breakouts, I was told that it was possible some of the serums and creams I was using could be the culprit so I set out to go more natural without sacrificing the results I got from makeup remover wipes and eye makeup remover.I researched dozens of products and product reviews and found these so I had to try them. Most of the lesser reviews on here complained about color fast issues, that they didn’t work as well with a full face of makeup, had to scrub to get eye makeup off or that they got musty after a few uses.In response to those I’ll say that I do still have some color wash out of mine when I use it even after washing them, but to me this isn’t an issue that would cause me to not use them. I don’t find it to hinder the productivity of the cloths.I don’t wear a “full face” and I don’t use it as face cleanser, I use my Purpose face wash in the shower, then use this cloth after to get the raccoon eyes I have from my eye makeup off.I find it works AMAZINGLY on my waterproof mascara and Kat Von D tattoo eyeliner. I compare it to how a regular washcloth would work on it and it requires SIGNIFICANTLY less effort to get the left over makeup off with this cloth.I use it at night, hang it over my shower door and by morning it’s dry with no odd smells.I can’t speak to its effectiveness on a “full face” but I would highly recommend for anyone looking to use fewer chemicals, get rid of makeup remover wipes, remove eye makeup, travel without liquids, or keep in a gym bag to use after a workout.
