I have purchased over 10 lightning cables in the past. I have many cables because I like having one by the couch, by the bed, at work, car etc. I've learned that it doesn't make sense to purchase "cheap" cables" thinking they work just the same because these cables just don't last. The most important feature to ensure the life of a cable is the housing that connects the Lightning port to the cable length. This is the location of traction, twisting and torquing that invariably occurs with repeated plugging and unplugging or iPhone use with the phone plugged in. For awhile I resigned to the fact that only Apple makes a cable that lasts and figured I would have to pay their ridiculous premium for an apple branded product. I have since discovered that a few products are equally well made and can handle the abuse I put these cables through.The kabel leader iPhone cables are one of the few cables that are designed with a sturdy housing that will last. I can only make this claim based on the feel of the product as only time will tell whether they will stand up, but the saving grace is their lifetime guarantee. I am so impressed with these chargers! I have to admit, I was a little skeptical of the "lifetime guarantee" because, well, anyone that has Apple products knows just how awful their charging cords and knockoff charging cords are. My 5 year old is truly gifted in that he can break a charging cord in a day. He likes to kink the cord where it's plugged into the device. My son also likes to forgot things are plugged in, then walk away only to realize he pulled the cord out via the USB part where the cord plugs into the wall charger itself. Aside from the potential damage to the cord, these cords are so long that my son doesn't need to stretch as far to charge the iPad or iPhone. So far with this charger, there is not one sign of wear! Not one single kink, no damage! The cables arrived super fast! The package was very easy to open. The wires look great, they look like they could pass for original Apple cables. See pictures. They work very well, they charge fast, they sync to my computer and iTunes, and best of all I can use it to connect directly to car stereo and the sound is amazing! So the data transfer rate on these cables are legit. They feel strong enough. Since they have a lifetime warranty I am really excited to see how long these things last.
