I bought this for my kid. It is piece junk, i feel bad that our money got wasted. We never knew that the return window closes in a month. The Casting Rod tip broke and is absolutely going to trash now. If you reading these reviews and deciding not to buy. Well I too saved your money and you are Welcome :).

Real nice kit, very surprised by the quality. The fishing real seems really great quality. Looks very good. Love the fact that the rod is so compact, perfect for camping! Great buy for the price, I recommend!

This is a nice little kit for someone starting out fishing but definitely not for an avid fisherman. The reel that came with the kit is of very poor quality and was "grinding" after I dropped it once on my kitchen floor. I got rid of the reel and put a really decent one on the rod, which is not worthy of the new reel lol. The rod looked like it wanted to break when trolling. I would not buy again for this price. I would rather have spent the money for one decent reel, and the same amount for one decent rod.

First thing to know is that I am a beginner in fishing stuff.I bought this rod to learn a thing or to with it. Well, it was my first fishing trip and after the first salmon, the reel was already unstable but still usable. I thought let's try one more attempt .. well, it broke on the second fish ...The maneuverability was very good. The rod is light and easy to cast with it.After contacting the manufacturer, they said it was a faulty product and therefore they will send a replacement.

Bought the full kit with tackle, etc. The reel appears to be of good quality…smooth action, good feel to it. The rod seems a bit flimsy, but telescoped properly and the tip was not broken on arrival. Not sure if it will hold up to extensive use, but should be good for kids/hikers/occasional fishers. The line and tackle that came with the kit look very cheap…so much so that I wouldnt trust them to hold together. Not only that, but not natural looking at all. I doubt any self respecting bass would bother striking.Either way, the kit is a very good value for what it is intended for…especially the reel (which can be used on a standard rod as well). I would pass on the full kit option, as you can surely do better. I wouldnt trust the included line to hold my tree ornaments🤷🏻‍♂️
