Q: How ‘deep’ are the teeth on the Pasta Tongs please? example: 1/2” Thanks in advance.

Longer than 1/2 inch. A good inch plus. I love these because they are long enough to grab a good amount of pasta, veggies, anything used for.

Q: can you remove the little stands?

I'm not sure, but it looks like it wouldn't be difficult to snap them off. BUT, the little stands are one of the best features of these tongs—they really keep the surface you're lying them on, clean. Why remove them? I find these tongs to be very good quality and they work well.

Q: Someone said not sturdy. Confused by this can someone please give examples of what they have used each of these for and how well they worked?

I've used all of them. The spatula was amazing for flipping over oven fried pork chops! I find them sturdy. I've used them on the chops, oven fried chicken, scallops, and oven roasted veggies. I would definitely buy again or gift them.
