Skeptical but surprisingly delighted with the refurb drive.Was willing to take a gamble with these drives , bought one and liked it.Ran diagnostics and they responded well to stress tests.Ended up and bought some more and now wishing I had not stopped there, price was good and have had ZERO issues with these. I had been a WD fan for many years but after some bad experienced with 1TB and 2TB Black dives I started my way towards Seagates, which I haven't had for many years when they started having issues way way back , glad to say my IronWolf Pros and Exos are doing really well and are quiet running 24/7. ( I will say though the WD Red Pros have been good but they are more expensive and I'm not seeing the light why and see as good or better from Seagate NAS and Enterprise level items )Famous last words I know but I'm willing to live with it till I'm proven wrong ( I back up across multiple mediums :)

I bought two of these drives, both of them checked out in good condition, no errors. One had ~30hrs on it, the other ~60. Considering how long these drives are designed to run for, they're practically brand new and for a fraction of the price. So far they're running great, but it has been only a week. I checked the Seagate website and neither are warranted, but I expected that going into the purchase. I'll update this review if either fails quickly, but so far I'd highly recommend these drives. On a side note, they're not particularly quiet, comparable to the Ironwolf drives these replaced. They make a little less noise than the Ironwolfs when in low use, but during heavier use they're just as loud so keep that in mind.

Purchased 2x of these hard drives. All were packed professionally and protected well (sealed anti-static bag and packed in a designated hard drive box/carrier). I tested each hard drive using WD Diagnostics and Crystal Disk Info, SMART and short diagnostic tests passed. When I pulled the usage information, both drives had less than 20 hours of power on use! Great price for the amount of storage and little use these drives saw! Both drives are also working well in my TrueNAS Core server.

I bought five of these for air-gap backup of my NAS. Each had only 100 hours of use - that's like 5 days! They've worked perfectly so far for nightly backup of 8TB of data, being using for 3 months now.

Ordered 1 testing the waters. Arrived packaged very well surprisingly. Slapped it in a usb external enclosure. Fired right up ran disk mark and come to find out drive was fired up once before with 12 hours on it and zero data had ever been written to it. Essentially a brand new drive for nearly have the cost. So I ordered another. And with read speeds up to 250 mbps it's half the speed of an ssd. This is the perfect drive for games movies etc. I'll be using this for my plex server and went ahead and ordered another. Hoping for same results !

I ordered 5 of these and all of them had only 14h of usage each. I am running the drives in RAID 6 since last year and no issues so far.

Only had 19 hours of use and 2 power cycles. Definitely worth it for those 24/7 NAS solutions. Ideally you definitely want this very far from your table as it does vibrate quite a lot given that its an enterprise drive and when you hit 4-5 of these, it can get very loud. ~250MB/s read with a bit slower write, goes down to about 140MB/s when you get closer to the sectors in the center of the drive. Hope I can buy another one of these when another is available
