I'm sure it's a fine meat processing accessory, it didn't fit in my Cabela's grinder, even though it said it would, so I haven't ever used it to know. It's lightweight, in case you're wondering.

Excellent replacement part for grinder of another brand!!
The wooden meat pusher from my Kitchen Aid grinder attachment disappeared and I use that grinder frequently. After reading the reviews for the plastic replacement now sold by that company, I decided to look for other options. This meat pusher fits my grinder perfectly. It's sturdy, dishwasher safe, comfortable to use, and nothing leaks up around the sides of the pusher when I'm using it, even if what I'm pushing through has already been ground. I haven't used it for sausage making but it's a gem as a replacement for the K.A. food grinder if your wooden pusher decides to disappear also! I totally recommend it.
