our son loves to be read this minecraft story, and i dont mind readding it to him either!
This book is actually pretty good! Our son just finished kindergarten so this is one I'm reading to him aloud, as he try to follow along as I move my finger down the side if the page to indicate where I'm reading from. The vocabulary is nice and varried, great new words for the ages indicated and our 6 yr old. Well written. The story isn't bad, I read it to him in our bed before he goes off to bed, and my husband and I are interested in where the story is headed. Our son loves the mine craft game on the ipad, so the story is right up his alley. So far zombies are attacking a village. He's interested, and thanks me for buying the book each night that I read him a chapter. When we first received in the mail he was dissapointed that there were no pictures, he could care less after hearing the first chapter.Excited to see where it goes, and I like that there are more in this series. I'm also confident that in a year or 2 he will be re reading the book on his own, getting even more of our money's worth.

Love it!!!
I think this book is awesome because I have limited game time and when you are reading the book it feels like I'm playing the game. It is also very cool because the one of the characters go on a cool adventure and it sometimes inspires you to do it or find it in the game what I don't like about it is nothing it is all good this book is awesome and it inspires people to do very cool things in the game instead of just build a house and defeat mobs go look for treasure in the Nether and defeat cooler mobs other than zombies skeletons and creepers defeat blazes and magma cubes zombie pigman and defeat cool enderman and the ender Dragon the book inspires alot of cool things for the game it is also good for reports kids don't want do read boring books for school reports this book is cool because it is very interesting so people and kids would actually spend alot of time reading it and thinking about it it would get them to read alot more they will probably pay more attention for reports

Finally, a book that interests my 6-year-old and makes him want to read!
I cannot honestly speak to the quality of the writing in this book, or even the story, as we are not very far. All I can say is that we have been struggling for a year to find something that my 6-year-old is willing to try to read, and FINALLY, here it is. He's never been interested in any book, ever, until now. In fact he says he "hates reading" (which makes my book-loving heart so sad!). He is loving this book, just like he loves Minecraft. He talks about the book between reading sessions and discusses what he thinks will happen next to Steve. Thanks, author, for a book about my son's favorite subject.

Perfect for the 11 year old Minecraft fan!
Although this book isn't a great story or writing, I have to say my 11 year old daughter is a HUGE fan!! She is obviously very much into all things Minecraft, but also happens to have fairly severe dyslexia. This book is perfect for her. The words and storyline are both easy to read and easy to follow, but she feels like she is reading an advanced chapter book. Added bonus its on a topic that interests her and she can understand.

Winter Morgan delivers again! My seven-year old son adores Minecraft, and these books allow him to engage his imagination and play out Minecraft with familiar characters in new storylines. At first we started out reading them together at bedtime, which quickly turned into him taking them to school, which then turned into him reading to himself after "lights out" just so he could finish the story. The books are priced just right, but at the rate he's reading, I'll be picking up four titles a month! Thanks for helping to make engaged readers at such an early age!

The Quest For The Diamond Sword
I think the quest for the diamond sword was a great book because Steve was not afraid to save his villager friends. I also liked the part when they found over forty diamonds I could never find that many. I also liked the part when they threw big party. That's some party I would want to be at because they played a lot of music. The part when they went to the end you should take out the crystals first because the ender dragon can heal from them but they did it without taking out the crystals. I recommend this book because it is about a popular fantasy game.
