My Fish Loves This!
I have a female Polar Blue Cichlid and a male Platinum Cichlid, and they produced a lot of over 300 fry. The fry have been free swimming and growing to a size that they can eat bigger food. I've been trying to find a good quality fish food that they can graduate from the frozen brine shrimp that I've been feeding them. I've tried to crush the Hikari Cichlid Gold pellets that I usually feed my Blood Red Parrot Cichlid (which he loves) in my separate tank, but the babies just spit it out or ignore it. So, I found the Omega One Color mini slow-sinking pellets. I liked what I read on the label, bought the 1.8 oz to give it a try. All the babies (and the adults) fight over this stuff. They love it and keep begging for more. I'm glad that this is a good nutritious food made of real salmon. I would definitely re-buy this food for my fish.

Perfect size and sink action for new baby fish!
This food has solved my problem of getting new fish to eat, it's perfect for that!Fish sold in your local fish stores and online is almost always baby fish. These babies will ignore what you try to feed them because they are not yet intelligent enough to recognize food they aren't used to eating. Older fish will not have that problem. At first only try feeding a teeny tiny amount. If ignored, which is likely, the food will rot and pollute the tank. Either a little bit which won't hurt or a lot which will, it depends on how much uneaten food there is.This product which is listed wrongly as "Omega One Color Micro Pellets" is actually Omega One Color Mini Pellets. Omega does NOT make Color Micro Pellets so you don't have to worry what you will get. It will be Omega One Color Mini Pellets (OOCMP).OOCMP when added to the tank, some will sink very very slowly and some will stay on top due to surface tension of the water. Just stir it with your fingers and it will sink very very slowly like the rest did. This very slow sinking will allow your fish to realize what they see falling down is what they are smelling: yummy food. Floating pellets they likely won't see. Fast sinking pellets they likely won't see, even though they smell it. You may never be able to teach your fish to eat for days and days, if ever. Slowly sinking pellets (like for instance this OOCMP) is what new baby fish learn to eat very quickly. If they ignore OOCMP it just means they are too scared to eat. Give them a day or two or three and hunger will overcome their fear. Once it does they will love to see you approach the tank, depending on the species of fish. Some are never brave. Some are never scared.New 1 inch fish can't eat small, medium, nor large pellets very well. They need smaller than small. This OOCMP is the right size for 1 inch fish. It is 0.5 mm size. That is under 1 mm!Hikari 'First Bites' is even smaller less than 0.2mm, I have no experience with it.Hikari mini either 2.7-3.0 or 3.2-3.7 mm depending on product.Hikari medium 4.0-4.3 or 4.8-5.3 mmHidari large 7.2-8.2 or 8.0-9.0 mmThis food makes feeding new fishes stress free on the owners and the fish!

Good food, but...
Once opened and exposed to air, fish food goes bad just like our food (think potato chips, cookies, and cereal). I place all of my fish food in the freezer to try to sustain freshness as long as possible, but I ended up throwing much of this away.

Guppy Food
Brought out the color in my guppies, they look amazing after feeding this to them for a couple weeks. They like it.

Must be very tasty!
All my fish love this food. They swim past every other food i put in. Even the 7 inch fish go after this extremely small food. Must be very good

drops too fast
I like the food, my betta likes the food but it drops so fast to the bottom that the tank got so nasty and smelly very quickly.at first I fed and filter dispersed all over tank. My betta seemed to enjoy chasing and eating. But because of the mess I got a feeding ring thinking that the mini pellets dropped due to swirling water from filter. This did not help much as the pellets still dropped too fast and now straight down below ring. My betta likes the ring though and hang out below it. I am trying the bigger size.

Great Value, Betta Gobbles It Up
My betta loves this stuff. Good news is that it will probably last longer than my betta. Bad news is, that's sad.Anyway, great sized pellets (smaller than most on the market) make feeding super easy (none of that spitting back up because the pieces are too big). My betta loves these — never gets tired of them. They float for a few mins, and then sink. I've recently started soaking mine in Vitachem (would highly recommend) before feeding, and they sink right away, but not a big deal.

Good food
Both my female and male Bettas and 2 aquatic frogs love this food. My Bettas attack the pellets and my awesome frogs gobble it up. Other foods my frogs don't get because I dont think they see too well but they smell (?) these pellets within 15 seconds and start feeding and get these pellets before they sink to the bottom where they are not good at finding.

Improves Colouration
Really like the ingredients of this product over many others on the market. I have noticed an increased vibrancy in the colouration of my fancy guppies since offering this food (I feed them the flake variety as well). Only issue I have is that the pellets are not uniform size so there are some pellets in here that are too big for the guppies, but thankfully they do eventually sink down for the corydoras

Good Quality
Took a picture of the pellets next to a soda lid for anyone looking for size reference. Sorry I had nothing else to compare the size to. Bottle says "5mm".They are "slow sinking". I calculated approximately 3-4 seconds to sink 12 inches. Some stay afloat for some time but it varies.I have no complaints since it's pretty good ingredients for the price, would buy again.

Good quality but a bit too big for guppies and neon tetra
Although these are mini pellets made of great ingredients that doesn’t cloud the water and float quite enough time allowing fish to get them, they are massive and hard to swallow for guppies and neon tetra (as shown on the label). They love the flavour, so rush towards one, swallow it, choke 2-3 times, before spitting it out and redoing this all over again. The solution to this is to grind the mini pellets before feeding it, preferably sprinkling some into a floating mould, otherwise the fine particles will spread too rapidly across the whole water surface.I’ll still recommend this product for the price-amount value of it, and especially for fish with bigger mouth.

The clownfish like it
My fish like it and it is a fraction of the price for the same size as the Novalis one from my LFS. Will see how it affects their colour, but as they are black and white storm clowns this point may be moot. Oh and my cat likes it as a treat once in a while
