Great value!
Perfect for use with outdoor devices that need a lager gauge cord such as my bird bath heater.

First impression is very good, I'll update with any failures.
This is the budget-series from Southwire, made in Vietnam. The Jacket seems much nicer than the stock picture (same pic as on the Southwire website) implies. The conductors are not clearly visible through the jacket as they are in the picture. The jacket seems plenty flexible for standard use. The cable shipped with a basic back-and-forth fold inside a cardstock sleeve, and relaxed better than I expected. The jacket material is similar, though maybe slightly thinner and stiffer, than that of one of their higher-tier cords I have. The connectors are closer to standard size, not the oversized ones like on the higher-tier Southwire cordsets. That part is for preference and stability requirements, so does not influence this review. The strain relief could be better, but is not bad at all. The contacts seem sturdy and bright, and at a quick touch didn't seem to have any heavy oil on them. The female socket contacts have nice wide fingers, and on first impressions I have no concerns about using them for sustained loads. The wire connections inside the molded ends look pretty good, though I would prefer not crimping the neon leads under the same strap as the current-handling wires. Realistically it should be fine so long as the crimps are rated for multiple conductors, and considering that molded ends don't leave a lot of options. Personally, I have never had a need for lighted ends, and when given two equivalent options, will choose un-lighted at the same price. If I forgot where an end was, I have created a hazard. If I need to know if it is powered, I carry a GFCI test lamp. And on top of that, neon lamps can cause noise on sensitive lines. That does not influence this review, as I knew this was lighted at the time of purchase.

Southwire 25-Foot 14/3 Outdoor Extension Cord w/ Lighted Ends - just what I ordered
It is difficult to find a 14 gauge (most are 16 or 18 gauge) for a reasonable price. Bonus that it has lighted ends. Purchased to use on camping trips. Seems to be well-built and has been used four times with no issues.

Good product
Haven’t used yet but have several of these electric cords .This cord is a good brand . ( contractor) the price is excellent considering how much everything has gone up . I do really like the lite end plugs especially in new construction when breakers trip all the time so u can see quickly whether you power or not .

Very good quality nicely priced 14/3 25-foot extension cord
Holding up well as garage DIYer 14/3 outdoor extension.Southwire tends to make good quality durable extensions for good price.Like the lighted end to show connection powered. Stays reasonably pliable in colder weather (any cords will stiffen up in frigid temps).Have older Southwire cords still working well and hopeful this cord does as well.Recommended product.

Hell Yah!
Best cord company around! USA made
C**.
It conducts 120 volts AC !!
I like the ìlluminàted end. Wish the plug was illuminated too. Guess that would be overkill, though? LOL seriously....Yeah, it's a very good extension cord for the price.

Meh
Bought two of these in the 25 ft length, not for any particular reason, but just to have a couple decent cords, despite the US commenter saying they are US made, the ones i received are made in Vietnam, and are leaning more toward orange than red, while i'm sure they'll work fine, the quality is about what you would expect given their far east origin..pretty average overall, but the price was right.
