These are very handy and the perfect size for cleaning the wheels on my S scale trains when used with my variable speed Dremel tool.I especially like that each one comes with its own shaft -ready to use right out of the box.The large quantity, and economical price is a great bonus.I’m sure I will find many other uses for these besides just my trains as they come in a variety of coarseness.

I've taken up airbrushing lately and I also own and operate a few 3D printers as hobbies. While I tend to focus on functional components, I will 3D print decorative figures and statues to use up aging filament.I realized I can give such figures and statues new life by airbrushing and painting them, so I've been practicing with failed prints. I've found out the hard way that thicker layer heights on prints, while they may take less time to print, give rough appearances that really show when painted.So, I've been trying out different tools to smooth prints, and these are one item I tried. As stated in the review title, these aren't working the way I expected, but they're still handy and helpful.I expected these rounded wheels to somewhat flex and mold themselves to surfaces as they sand. I thought this would be helpful for small nooks and crannies in prints, such as eye sockets in a large animal print. Sadly, that's not the case. The wheels do conform ever so slightly to the surface you're sanding, but nowhere near enough to reach into nooks and crannies.However, I find these are MUCH easier to smoothly and consistently sand 3D prints as compared to drums, discs, spiral sandpaper bits, and even burrs. So for that reason, I'm keeping these in my rotary tool arsenal. I will attest with others that these wheels do disintegrate as they're used, so in addition to dust from sanding, you will have fine fragments and dust from these wheels as they wear down.So if you're having trouble with other rotary tool sanding attachments as described above, these are definitely worth a try.

I'll start with the "bad". When I got my bits, they came inside an Amazon box... inside an Amazon box. There was really no "formal" packaging & the bits weren't separated, just all tossed into the cardboard box. Not a problem except when it came time to sort them. The Gray & Black wheels are significantly different as far as grit/abrasiveness goes, however they look pretty much identical in color so good luck differentiating em... Take that as you will.As far as performance, they seem fine, I've never used "name brand" wheels of this type so I can't compare the 2, however 1 wheel seemed to last for 1 project; very light touch up to remove plastic "flashing" on a 700 stock I modified. I feel it wore out pretty quickly for what I used it for, but then again, you get a bunch & they're inexpensive.

The only way to know which color is which grit is to come back here to amazon and the grits do not represent their coarseness/aggressiveness at all. The brown is supposedly 120 but it takes a very long time to remove marks from actual 120 grit sandpaper. That wouldn’t be a terrible thing, but their usefulness really only is a couple minutes at most. I absolutely will not buy these again but I’ll try to get some use out of them by using them as if the lowest grit was 320 or 400.

The kit has a good mix of different abrasive wheels and buffing wheels. I've used several in a Dremel and nothing has come apart or failed yet.

The media could not be loaded.  Honestly for the price these are an amazing buy I would recommend to everyone who is in jewellery or needs help polishing metals pearls or any other products I will buy again definitely
