Pray Big for Your Marriage: The Power of Praying God's Promises for Your Relationship

This is the second book of Davis's I have read, following "Pray Big" several years ago. What I remember from that text was being impressed with the author's storytelling ability. That is present in this book as well. Davis is transparent and isn't afraid to appear as less than a holy man to make a point about prayer. He explains relevant Scripture passages very well, also.I have improved greatly as a pray-er over the years but it's still the weakest part of my relationship with God. Taking the insights in this book to heart, I expect to improve in that regard. My wife means the world to me and there's little I can do to honor her more important than praying for her. I expect that the suggestions in Pray Big for Your Marriage will help me honor her more.

As I began reading this book I immediately started using the prayer starters to pray for my marriage. My marriage was not at a crisis point or in trouble it was just something I wanted to prayer more effectively due to the great value I place on my marriage. As I began faithfully praying scripture for my husband and our marriage, God opened my eyes to little changes being made in both of us. This book does not teach you how to selfishly prayer for your marriage e.g. "God make my husband a better housekeeper." Instead it helps you use God's Biblical promises for marriage as a way to communicate your heartfelt desires to have the marriage God intended you to have. It is amazing how powerful this style of praying can be, for your marriage and other areas of life, also. I highly recommend this book and Will Davis Jr.'s Pray Big for your Child.

My favourite aspect of the book were the Pray Big prayer starters and pin point prayers. They help you not to pray amiss and with the prayer topics explained, you can recognise the answers to your prayers. Highly recommended book.

This is a great resource for this who are praying for their marriages. It assumes for much of the book that both spouses are willing, committed Christians, though they need not be for this resource to be adaptable to your situation. I appreciate having extra "fuel" to pray biblically for my husband and my marriage.

This book is amazing. It offers great tools and tips on how to pray. It tells you what pin-point praying is all about. I have already recommended this book to several of my married friends and engaged friends. It has definitely comforted me when needed as well. A great read and a Great find. I'm actually sad I finished it but I know I'll read it again in the future.

This is a wonderful book. My hisband and I were in the verge of divorce and the prayers in this book are so specific that I believed they helped our situation. We were living apart but soon after I started reading the book and praying these prayers my husband called and said he wants to work things out. Whatever the state of your marriage, I would recommend this book.

Gave me a whole new look at my potential in Christ Jesus and how powerful prayers can be when the spirit of God is invited into it.May everyone be inspired to be bold and ask God for such big unselfish unattainable dreams that they would know without a shadow of doubt that this is the hand of God Al-mighty.

I do like this book and I have been praying big since I started reading it, which has led to things happening that I've been wanting to happen for a long time. I know that God's timing is the best time. I am a Christian and already spent regular time in prayer.

Highly recommend this book. Whether you are newly married or married a long time, there is some great teachings through every season of life and how to pray big! Expect God to do great things!!
