Fun, fun, fun
I initially was thrilled with the quality, but found a nickel-sized area where the paint had fallen off. Be careful when opening the center hinge, as the black plastic swing-down lock can fall back and the tab can be broken off by the large lever. I used a small bungee to hold it in place and all is well, so far. Kristi, Durban's online rep, says she's sending a replacement. The seatpost height adjustment lever can easily be opened if you're not careful stepping through the frame. Another small bungee helps keep it closed, and secured my pump behind the seatpost.I didn't expect as much alloy in construction. The only substantial steel parts are the chainring itself (arms are alloy), the handlebar riser (the top T is alloy) and small fasteners & fittings. Fenders are durable plastic (offset but centered with effort and a little file work). The alloy rack has curved members which look nice but probably won't hold as much weight as straight ones would. Weight limit is 210# so that means I can only carry 25# of cargo, so they'll probably suffice. The seat is comfy and the tires seem reasonable quality too, with solid center ridge for less rolling resistance and good shoulder tread for cornering traction. Those who complain about tire quality should google tires that size. There are better tires for more money, of course. But there are also worse. These worked fine for the six miles I've ridden them so far, pumped up hard. The Shimano shifter and brakes work flawlessly. For what I paid I shouldn't complain at all, especially with free shipping. The bike is nimble, easy to pedal, and stable at speed.Highly recommended (mostly). ;-) I'm sure I'll be upgrading components over the years but for the price how could anyone complain? Yes, it's heavier than other, better rated bikes, but it's also hundred$ less.

I love the bike but after riding it twice the brakes ...
I love the bike but after riding it twice the brakes locked up. Luckily I wasn't on it when it did. I took it to the local bike shop and discovered the locking mechanism was on backwards SERIOUS HAZARD. The Brake wires were installed wrong and a issue with the gears being installed incorrectly. ALL VERY DANGEROUS had I been riding and any of these issues occurred. Ultimately the shop said they had to reassemble the bike and they're only charging my $80 as a tune up not full assembly. So much for getting a deal on the bike.

Light and rides well.
Because I spend several months each in four different locations I have a Melon Slice, a Dahon Vitesse, a Dahon Mariner and a Dahon Glide. The Dahon Glide which has full size wheels had become too heavy for me and I wanted a lighter bike with 20" wheels. I saw this on Amazon and since it was less than half the price of a new Dahon (and I think they may no longer make the Melon) I decided to try it. I am very pleased. It is light, folds easily, shifts well and seems (so far) to be generally equivalent to the Dahon 20" wheel bikes I have. I am no bike expert but I am. Dry pleased with this one.

but it folds quickly and rides easily, after initial adjustments
Heavier than expected, hard to carry around for my 5'2" frame. but it folds quickly and rides easily, after initial adjustments. the original seat is fine but I've bought a seat cover to increase the cushion.

Wife loves the bike
Make sure to have a professional tune the bike before you ride it. My wife has really enjoyed biking it. Wish it brought a carrying bag. But for the price, this is a good bike.

It's a fine bike for $220
The bike doesn't have all the accessories that the picture shows. It didn't come with the elastic luggage strap. It's a fine bike for $220.
