Quality seems excellent. Haven't used them yet, but looking forward to. Exactly as described.

Works great for kebabs on the grill or in the oven. I also have used to make tofu skewers and the flat bamboo keeps the tofu from spinning around and around. I have also use these when making cake toppers and cake banners because they hold nicely in something dense like a cake or bread. The only food that still seems to spin is tomato which makes sense because it’s mostly liquid on the inside.

They are so sturdy that they tend to split veggies, mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers etc. Great for meat!

I used these skewers for a project other than skewering food. The green colorant on one side came off and messed up my results. I would think that the substance used in coloring one side of the skewers (green) might interact with food as well. I was very glad for flat skewers, but very unhappy that the skewers were not plain bamboo, rather colored on one side.

Quality skewers that are wide enough to securely hold onto the food while turning and are splinter free.

I find that the meat and veggies are much affixed to the skewer when grilling than the round ones ever were. They are a little bit harder the push the meat and veggies on to, and off-of, the flat skewers. But, you can turn the kebabs on the grill to almost any position with the meat and veggies all staying firmly in place on the skewer. I will buy these skewers again, and recommend them.
