My Grandsons love this book, and so do I
This is simply fun, and we have family gatherings where we read a story and try to figure it out. They are getting better and better at it. And in this time of school via Zoom, I also appreciate that this is teaching them to pay attention to what they are reading, look for clues, and think about what they might mean--all while having a good time.

Make it Reader Game Night
Fun in trying to solve these mysteries before reading the solution at the end of the book.

My grandsons loved this book. The older boy read it to his younger brother when their parents were sick. Kept them entertained.

Great for reluctant readers
I bought this because of Chris Grabenstein. But, YES, YES, YES and more YES! Seriously these are some amazing short stories from up and coming authors for sure. I have loved trying to figure out each mystery and been both successful and unsuccessful at the conclusion.Great for school-age readers and even reluctant readers because they could read one story at a time.
