Mechanix Wear Cascade Welding Glove - Large, Black

These are almost the perfect glove. There is a bit too much stitching in the finger tips but otherwise these are amazing.

The comfort of the glove itself is very good. That being said I would reckon that at the cost of comfort (if any) they could make the leather of the the glove more durable. And. An example of This is when I was welding sheet metal using MIG neither the stitching or the leather held up very long. I had deep cuts on the palm of the glove hand only within the first 3 days and gave way to tears exposing my palm of my hand making them useless in only 5 days. Not to mention the stitching had no heat resistants at all; they blew apart at the fingers almost as quickly as the glove itself got shredded. Keep in mind I was welding at low temperature and was picking up light sheet metal that was admittedly broad on the sides but I’d expect a glove of this price to have more durability.
