This is a beautiful box set with mini photo collection included . The books themselves are a amazing read for both young and old . I loved the story line which is fun, action packed and very enjoyable . As a self confessed bibliophile I had to get this box set as it is good value for money and nicely presented .I actually enjoyed this set so much I also bought it in kindle , graphic novel and just ordered first edition signed copies of some of the books too !! Yes I do admit it I love books for too much lol

My daughter shows me her bookset daily and I think it is a bargain. The third book (I think it is Library of Souls) has the signatures of all the peculiar children. My daughter constantly talks about it and she saw the movie already 10 times and seems not to tire of it. In my house Ransom Riggs is a hero for writing such entertaining stories that can capture the imagination of a 12 year old in ways I have never seen before. The children today are so lucky, we did not have much selection of quality books (in Danish) to read when I was a kid. Learning English early on is definitely an advantage as the to the breadth and range of books available for reading also for the very young.

This box set looks gorgeous, the books are hardback and beautifully presented. The stories are original and throughout the book there are many black and white photographs. I am currently reading the first book of the trilogy to my nearly 9 year old, he is enjoying the story although I would suggest they are more suitable for a KS3 child so 11-12 +.This box set would make a wonderful gift for an older child who appreciates beautiful books!

Wow!! just finished the first book and it was amazing! I would 100 percent recommend this book! The great thing about this book is that it is a fantasy and also relates to the real world!! I’m on to the next book and I’m so excited to read more excitement!! if you are looking at this book set just get it!! It’s amazing I promise you! A unique and clever story that captivated me from beginning to end. My 10 yr old son is now reading them and he is hooked. The incorporation of original photos is exceptionally well done and adds a real magic to the books. I thoroughly recommend these books to anyone who likes grown-up fairytales, adventure or something a little different.
