Great protection for your chair.
Definitely a great idea to have on your chair when you get older. They launder well and are definitely worth the money you spend on them.

Great protection for my recliner
I bought this to use on my new little recliner and it fits great! Haven't had it long enough to clean it and hope to not have to test for waterproof or cleaning for awhile :)

Pad works but fades with first wash
I followed washing instructions but the pad faded with first wash. Still absorbent but doesn't match chair now.

Good but has the same issues all these pads have
the tl&dr here is: the waterproof-ness of all these pads only lasts for a while so you eventually end up replacing them typically after a few months to around half a year if you're washing/drying them frequently. This isn't due to a design defect or because the pad construction is poor. Its because the waterproof layer doesn't hold up well to washing or drying. In particular drying!! Happens to all the pads no matter which one you buy.The way I've found to make them hold up is to wash them with cold water only in the washer and let them air dry on a line or hanging up in the shower. Don't put them in the dryer!! I've been able to get them to stay waterproof for nearly a year doing that. I've heard some say that they only hand wash them in the tub with cold water with dish soap and air dry them on a clothes line which can make them last upwards of a year but haven't seen it work yet myself.Personally I'm a bit lazy to go and do it really but its worth a shot if you want to get the most out of it.The pad itself is fine and looks ok. Stitching has held up well so far after nearly a month of use and it does grip the seat reasonably well so it doesn't bunch up too much. I only have to readjust it every week or so. None of the edges are curling up like others that I've seen which is nice.Comfort-wise its a thin pad, maybe 1/4 inch thick, so it really doesn't offer much cushioning nor does it much effect the cushion of the chair you're sitting in. Which is fine if you're like me and don't need more padding. Size-wise they're perfect for recliners or other large-ish chairs. On smaller chairs they'll overhang way to much and there isn't any ties or anything to take up the extra fabric so it'll look silly.
