quiet and really powerful. if you have a quad-core processor you need a fan...they just run hotter than the older processors do.works as it is meant to. AMD quad core with 16 gigs of ram was buffering too much for me. slipped this under my laptop, and everything is fine ... Get One 9/28/16...been using this for 7 weeks or so. worked well initially, now making so much noise you can't hear stream thru laptop...BEWARE !!!

This laptop cooling pad really does keep my Macbook nice and cool. It's quiet, and the blue lights aren't distracting at all, since the computer covers them almost completely. The lights let me know how many of the fans are running. I like the flip up pieces that keep the computer from sliding off the pad. I would prefer it if the feet at the back of the pad could be folded in, but I think that might affect the air circulation.

The big fan in the middle didnt work straight out of the box..but the 4 small ones do...so U get what U pay for...

At first I thought it would be heavy, but when I received it I almost wouldnt believe it's okay to use. I mean, i have a 4lbs laptop and was afraid to break the cooler even before I even use it. But it didnt. It hold my laptop perfectly, with little stoppers at the front. Not too highly and not to low, just right as almost it's made for my Lappy.

piece of junk quit working after a few weeks went into the trash dumpster. Never buy again.
