So I just received this knife, not hoping for a lot. I gotta say, for $7 you should really get it. The packaging on the interior was quite banged up and broken, but not a big deal. Be careful opening because the knife is not super secure in the packaging. Overall, it IS full tang, not mould injected so that is nice. The spine of the knife is a bit sharper than I like, but sandpaper can fix that. It seems to have a comfortable handle and the blade has a nice rocking shape to it. Seems pretty decently sharp right out of the package. I will update as I have this knife for longer.

This knife is a good value for the what you get. The handle is a little heavy so makes it a little awkward to use.

I've had this for a month now and I'm comparing it to a Shun Classic 8" chef knife....I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could.This totally worth about $25 or so.It can get sharp (does not come that sharp from the package), is full tang, has a half decent handle, and is decently balanced.It is too flexible for my tastes and the stainless used is too soft to keep an edge well. It needs steeled often. BUT, when sharp, it can handle a tomato with tough skin fine.I'd get it as an "introductory" chef's knife once you stop using your pocketed steakhouse knifes as cooking knifes, but as for a long term high quality do-all that will keep you happy, look elsewhere.If this was a harder steel and therefore could keep an edge longer and be stiffer, it would be much better.

Very sharped and works great

This is little heavier than my current knife and does the job greatly. I do not have to give a lot of pressure to cut the vegetables.Also very safe for the fingers near the handle with blunt end than my current knife. A very good find.onky downside was the packaging which didn't protect the knife as expected.

Very sharp knife. I'm glad we purchased this because our old one was getting very dull. This knife makes cutting vegetables and meats effortless. It is very comfortable in the hand also. It is very good quality and see many years of use out of this knife.

It’s been a great chef knife so far. I’ve always wanted to own one, and this was at a price point where I was willing to try. Just like other reviews said, it’s nicely balanced, and the blade quality is very impressive and easy to sharpen. Looking forward to making more favorite dishes using this knife!
