Installed and it worked for five days - then Microsoft uninstalled from my computer and disabled Outlook - even though I had an older legitimate version installed on my computer - so now that doesn't even work - Microsoft is trying to get me to upgrade to Office 365 - so don't buy it - there are some people who have had success installing and keeping it running but most have the same problem I did

My son bought (with some assistance from mom and dad) a new laptop for himself primarily for gaming. But come September when he starts middle school, we’d like him also to use it for his homework and school projects. Our household has used MS Office for years so it was our go to software. Purchased primarily for Word, Excel and PowerPoint should also see some use as well. It was easy to install, acquired by download from Microsoft after inputting the key code included in the box on their website. It was also decent value ($139.95 at time of purchase), costing 20 bucks less than buying direct from Microsoft (go figure).Quick and easy install and a highly useful suite of office software for a decent price. Hard to go wrong. Recommend.* Helpful votes always appreciated *

I purchased this full version as a ONE TIME PAY, not the 365 yearly subscription in Feb. 2020. Now in Sept. 2020 my program will not work and says I need to renew my subscription. There is no subscription!I’ve been to the Microsoft site looking for help and there is none. Since I purchased this through Amazon I am questioning the integrity of the seller as well as Amazon for allowing this sort of thing to happen.I have seen that a few users continued to use the program but many could not. Having used MS programs for decades I know how they work and this is not following that pattern. Therefore I am calling this a scam.

This worked fine for me. The only issue I had was I purchased a new laptop & it had a free trial version of MS Office 360 already installed. Once I saw it wasn't installing fully, I did some research and uninstalled the free trial version of MS Office 360 and when I went to install this one again, it worked.

Following the instruction of the installation but found Office.com/setup did not recognize the product key provided. I need to spend over an hour working with MS tech support over the phone before they enable the product key for me. After that I then can go to the download site to download the software.Seller should not sell a non-functional product key.
