The battery compartment gets stuck a little open but ither than ththaththat they work well

Good magnification
Following some complications with cataract surgery, one eye quite blurry and impossible to read small print. Orderd 4.0 strength and he was able to read his favorite time magazine again. Not sure if having 4.0 in both eyes is recommended., since the “good” eye had no issues.

Light switch broke to easy. Switch hard to turn on-turn off.

Cheaper and better
I've been a loyal Foster Grant customer until I discovered these. They are cheaper, come in a 3 pack and, so far, have been more durable.

They work great for reading and even better for walking around in the dark.
So, I was just in Cuba, where I swore that I'd finally read a book for the first time since I became addicted to Social Media. Well that didn't happen. I mean, i read a few pages but went right back to reading the news on my phone. There's a war in Ukraine afterall, so that be my excuse.Ahhhhh...but then I was staying at a private home where a family lived, arriving home late at night. Needed to find my way around, find a key in a very dark hidden spot (a key to the outdoor kitchen as I had the munchies terribly). I didn't have a headlamp so decided to try the glasses for the first time...THEY WORKED PERFECTLY. I found my way around, made some food, then closed up the kitchen without turning on a light switch or waking my hosts.I give these glasses a 10/10.And they are ok for reading too.

Not super bright.
Magnifying is normal. Light should be brighter and more centered. It's too dispersed.
